Im not doing wishful thinking even though I personally hate Trump. I'm just going by what the cards say, which I trust more than I do any of the Fake News.

If Trump loses at least three of the states which he won by less than 1% in 2016, he's meat. He's dead in the water.

This impeachment thing is not going to help him.

Exactly, I mean the cards I pulled are actually making sense. His scandels are starting to pile up higher and higher and despite the pessimism about his "loyal supporters" there's a good number of Americans who are upset with him right now for recent things like pardoning war criminals and getting us into a trade war with China that has hurt many American farmers. Not to mention threatening a civil war on twitter which people are still talking about.

Plus I get the feeling something is indeed up with his health and he's even losing some support in the southern states (that should honestly be the real shocker...)

He may very well get replaced by vice president Mike Pence soon. Aka "The Hierophant/High Priest".

I find it interesting how speculation flip-flops between Trump will give up and resign any day now, to he's going to barricade himself in the white house and refuse to ever leave office.

Wishful thinking on your part, OP. Get ready for another 4 years... Trump will never give up and he will be re-elected.

Your post is an important reminder that with all my catastrophizing about a Trump loss he could win. If that happens the left like the right in the other scenario will not accept the results. It will be blamed on the Russians, gerrymandering, the corporate deep state anyone but themselves. You will see what you saw after 2016 but a lot more intense because desperate people do desperate things.

It seems to me the democrats set this whole thing up when they insisted Trump's win was due to Russian interference and then proceeded with a never ending string of investigations and hearings trying to take him down.
Now that they have taken the US so far down the rabbit hole, who knows what will happen next.

I bet Mike Pence is packing up his things and preparing to move them into the oval office as we speak.

Then again I think most Americans can see what it going on by now, and unless airtight concrete evidence comes to light, they are going to continue seeing the whole thing as a farce and vote accordingly.

I predict he will either be impeached or lose the next election. Or get too sick to run the country. Either way he won't stay in power long.

From before Trump was even sworn in one of the speculations has been Pence becoming president was the plan all along. That Trump never really wanted the job. It keeps going from one extreme to the other.

As for the impeachment trial, right now it doesn't appear to be holding any water. It looks like something that was hastily slapped together in a last-ditch effort.

Even if he wins the next election he won't be in power that much longer. 4 more years isn't much time. If I live to be his age I will have seen a lot of presidents come and go.

You're absolutely right about it being rushed but maybe this impeachment process serves the purpose of bringing out the worst in Trump's behavior so that more Americans will vote against him in the next election?

I think it's working due to the way he's losing support in normally conservative states like Kentucky, Georgia, and Louisiana.

I think many Americans are getting bored with Trump's little reality show in the White House.

I hear this about nearly every President.

In reality, Trump is more concerned with how history will look at him. If he tries to stay after he has to leave, he knows that will make him look bad in the history books.

It could easily end up making the democrats look bad rather than Trump. Hoisted by their own petard.

I don't think Trump cares so much about how history judges him as he does about obtaining more power and establishing his family dynasty.

Keep dreaming, Zoltar! Louisiana's winner is a deeply rooted servant with conservative leanings (pro-life), Kentucky is facing a huge teacher's union crisis. These results don't mean what you think they do.

For the record, I would be fine with Trump passing the torch to Pence though.

Well I trust the cards. Trump will fall from power and then he will get replaced by somebody worse, for a while. :skull:
