You have mentioned getting out and about.Maybe you are in isolation now but you did mention being in a store in another thread.
You don’t represent the people here with crap medical care,I doubt there is even one ventilator in this county. You live in a city with excellent facilities. If you got it you would have better resources to survive.
I should have used a different word than hoax.

When I was in stores I had a heavy duty mask on. But now I am not going anywhere, except brief walks out in the woods with no one around which still equals isolation.
Considering 95% of the people who get it have mild symptoms, how many in your county do you think 5% equals? And how many of those people do you think have a chance of getting it if they isolate and take all the precautions?
I live in a county that has one of the highest rates in the nation. The first case in the US was here. I think the odds of me getting it, considering the personal precautions being taken, are literally a million to one, with everyone here doing everything they did before the lockdown of people and shutdown of businesses.
People have to get out and get groceries, medicine, animal feed, etc,,unless they have someone to do it.No fresh delivery of vegetables and most older folks don’t order stuff online. Some people will just have to venture out,if the store is out of what they they need, maybe several trips.
There's only one store, one nursing home, jail with inmates, and four low income apartment units full of elderly, disabled, and low income with kids. And TWO doctors, and one isn’t even full time.He is only here once a week.Basically only one of anything. It also takes an hour to get to the hospital, unless you use the helicopter, but there’s only one of them.It might get busy.Sometimes the ambulance is out on another call and you have to meet them on the road to hospital with the sick person.
So whoever catches it here would have to leave the county to be hospitalized. No hospital here, next county over and it serves multiple counties. So even 20 seriously ill from this county would be bad.It is in the counties next to me.Its just a matter of time.I hope that hot weather weakens it,who knows.
Our hospital got overloaded one flu season and people were piled up in the halls on cots.So if we couldn’t even handle that.....
I really hope it’s not going to be as bad as some predictions.
I’d love for people to be able to say “I told you it wasn’t going to be that bad.”
I really, really hope people get that chance.
If you are saying it is difficult for at risk people to isolate where you live, how is everybody isolating going to make it easier for them? I mean either way, the at risk people are still going to have to isolate themselves.
As far as handling the flu, last year there were 35 million cases of it in the US. The US is light years away from 35 million cases of the coronavirus.
It’s no harder to isolate here, just not The facilities to deal with all the sick.
It’s trying to keep everyone from catching it at once and dog piling the ER.There are people that are still going to have medical emergencies and if the ER is clogged with virus people it’s going to be harder to save an accident victim.
That’s why people should stay home if they can.

Most people who get the coronavirus recover at home. That's what I think a lot of people do not understand. They think most of those who get it become seriously ill. Most who get it will simply have to take care of themselves as if they had mild flu and isolate at home for two weeks. Those who do not get it may have to lockdown isolate for several weeks.
Really for those who have little risk of going critical, I think it is probably better to catch it and get it over with. At least that would be my choice, if I could get it without going critical. No more worrying about getting it, no more having to be extra careful, no more constant hand washing and sanitizing etc.
We never went to ER or doctors for flu.Just rode it out at home.
The first time I saw people wearing face masks was when we had a flu epidemic It was unfortunate that my yearly physical was then.People were walking in without appointments and laying across the chairs wearing masks. The receptionist told them to go home because nothing could be done.
They were just spreading it and taking up valuable space.I didn’t catch it,I avoided touching anything in the waiting room.It was so bizarre I didn’t go back to the doctor for several years.

Another thing I will say as while I certainly do not think the coronavirus itself is a hoax of any kind. I do think there are politicians, media and even experts, who are so anti-trump, they would try using the virus to unseat him. I think in their minds Trump is more dangerous than both the virus and massive unemployment.
I am not sure what you mean by "Trump is more dangerous than the virus". I mean, talking about the virus too much isn't going to make virus any more dangerous than it would have been otherwise.
Or are you suggesting they actually manufactured the virus in the lab? But I thought it was done in China, and Trump is in the US? Or are you saying people in the US manufactured some extra virus after the Chinese were done with it?
