It's good of you to concede how out of touch you are with anything resembling a civilized attitude.
Nothing solves multigenerational poverty like torture.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

I'm sure you are ok with these thefts on many levels. Hatred of legit businesses (how dare they sell things for profit), sympathy for criminals, hatred of work.
My father worked two full time jobs to support our family in the 80s so I have no sympathy for those who steal things and feel they should just be allowed to work four days a week and have everything. I got a job and earned what I have. So should everyone.
The legal system can't control this problem so other means need to be considered.

It's almost like the way we approach this problem doesn't work, but you'd rather prattle on with strawmen that basically amount to accusing me of not being enough of a bootlicker before airing some back in my day grievances. Perhaps next you can blame it all on the kids and their music to complete the out of touch BINGO card.
It's clear you're incapable of thinking of anything that might resemble a solution because the invisible hand doesn't offer any solution to this sort of problem.

Yep. Well said - both posts.
You’d think if someone didn’t like the crime that’s happening that they might Ishikawa the s**t out of the subject and keeping asking “Why?” until they figure out why these ppl don’t just buy the things they need.. oh, lack of funds.. underpaid/under employed/unemployed, lack of employment opportunities, lack of training or educational opportunities etc etc etc etc -> you know; actually work towards solving problems instead of insisting that there’s a simple one size fits all solution like “Don’t steal, just pay for stuff duh.”

The solution is make the legal punishment for this so sever that it stops. Nothing excuses what's seen in this video.

How does severe punishment resolve poverty and desperation?

Getting medieval isn't actually an effective deterrent, it never has been so why would it become one now?

People the color of those in the video can get into college and get plenty of financial aid just because of their race. I didn't want this to be about race but that's the for real truth. After that getting a job is on them.

I'm sure you can substantiate that claim and that it's not just an indication of how little you know about what you're talking about.

Yep. My college roommate. The school paid everything for him. He sat around all day smoking weed and listening to music and couldn't figure out why he flunked every class.

Sounds like you have an anecdote, which isn't exactly compelling evidence. My ex Tsion broke this down in detail for me years ago and it doesn't work the way many people believe even if those misconceptions are common. I once believed it worked the way you seem to believe it works, but I was wrong just like you are wrong.
Also, your anecdote is to point out you had a lazy roommate. You don't cover any details of why things were being paid, supposing you even had the information at any point.

There is still "affirmative action" for admission to some "elite" colleges. I believe there are also unofficial "quotas"---though I can't prove that hypothesis.
What is the United Negro College Fund ?
