The Legend of Dragons
The story of dragons go back thousands of years. Where did they start from?
We do not have dragons today. Did they exist in the past? The answer is Yes and No. Take what is real and take what is legend and discover the buried links.
I live in a region that has numerous tornadoes. As a matter of fact one went through my home about 11 years and destroyed many of my 100/200 year old trees. The United States is different from most regions of the world because we have a huge number of tornadoes. It is easy for me to see where the legend of dragons came from because I experienced several tornadoes that struck my home in all different directions causing massive damage. Generally there are two types of tornadoes. Those that travel on land and those that travel on lakes and rivers. The tornadoes that travel on water tend to be less powerful and cause minimal damage. But the ones on land are very destructive.
So if you explore regions that only experience tornadoes ever hundred or thousands of years, they produce a strong shock to the people who live through it. But somehow we describe the event the best we can, and they melt from stories to scientific events.
