Jimmy Kimmel's Gone - - Who's Next?
Let's wait till Trump kicks the bucket and the MAGAs completely drain American tax dollars to spend on HIS funeral.
They're probably going to encase the bastard in a solid gold pyramid with a large diamond tip bigger than anything in Egypt for all we know.
All while they preach to us with their phony-as-hell liberal values about tolerance and acceptance.
I could maybe even forgive all that if it wasn't for the fact that their movies and TV shows are so insufferably mediocre now.
Bloody oath.
You know, the funny thing is how, uh...
lousy most of your stuff is.
You make violent films
and dirty films...
and you make family films...
but most of 'em
are not very good, are they?
It's funny
that so many smart people...
could work so hard and
spend all that money...
and make so much money on 'em...
What do you think it is?
It must be the money, huh?
It turns everything to crap.
But how much money
do you guys really need?
I mean...
you be honest with me,
and don't spare my feelings.
*never more relevant*
Anyways intermission over, y'all kiddies back to your sudden awokening of free speech indignation because someone representing ones acceptable brand of politic said something really quite callous and exploitative and got a slap down. I'd mention all those who got flak for expressing simple sentiments such as "everyones life matters" or "children can't give consent" but ones brand informs us that that's the sound of far-right hate speech.
Republican lawmakers are coming up with a legal defence to prepare for the inevitable class action from victims of their antidemocratic hate speech pogrom.
The First Amendment, which enshrines free speech as a fundamental right for Americans, protects even hate speech, unless it directly incites violence, the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) says.

MAGA will claim
a) Robinson was inspired by far left groups (now conveniently proscribed as terrorist organisations)
b) celebrating kirk's death is now hate speech according to a)
c) any democrat politician or high profile celebrity who has said anything negative about the late Mr Kirk will be censured (even retrospectively) according to a)
On Monday, Republicans in the US House of Representatives introduced resolutions to censure Minnesota politician Ilhan Omar and remove her from committees.
Members of the republican party are also calling for vigilantism JD Vance used his appearance on The Charlie Kirk Show to encourage listeners to pursue punishments for opponents themselves.
"When you see someone celebrating Charlie's murder, call them out, and hell, call their employer," Mr Vance said in his closing monologue.
Online, Republican politicians and other conservative influencers, such as as Matt Wallace and Mr Musk, spearheaded efforts to expose critics of Mr Kirk and attempt to have them fired from their jobs. State governments and universities have also sacked dozens of teachers, academics, firefighters and other workers for comments they made online.
On Tuesday, the president filed a $15 billion defamation lawsuit against four journalists at The New York Times, adding to a growing list of litigations against news outlets for negative reporting.
He previously filed lawsuits against ABC News and CBS News , both of which settled out of court (in the case of CBS forcing them to also terminate Stephen Colbert as part of the settlement).

Sounds to me like the Right Wing has taken cancel culture and flipped it on the Left Wing.
It also feels like we're going back to the dark days of McCarthyism only this time instead of being labeled a "commie" you will get blacklisted as a "terrorist" for not bending to Trumpism.
In addition there has been a deification of Charlie Kirk with mass rallies all over the US and around the world promoting the #we are all Charlie kirk
His assassination also coincides with anti-mass immigration rallies. Many rally organisers are using his memory as a call to rise up against their own governments.
Ironically his death is also led to a surge in interest in turning point USA

Well like I said in another post, it mirrors the history of Nazi Martyr Horst Wessel who was murdered by communists and Hitler's people exploited his death to further their own propaganda.

Man re-arrested by FBI after after shots fired at ABC affiliate in Sacramento
The Sacramento Police Department arrested Anibal Hernandezsantana after an investigation into a vehicle at the scene led them to a home. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building and negligent discharge of a firearm.
Police spokesperson Anthony Gamble said it's unclear how many shots were fired at the ABC10 building on Friday afternoon, but "it does appear at least three rounds did strike the building."
No one was injured. Police said investigators don't know if the gunfire was directed at the ABC building.
“The shots appear to have come from a vehicle but it’s unknown if this was a targeted drive by type of incident or something random,” police said in a statement Friday night.
Sacramento police responded shortly after 1:30 p.m. to the ABC affiliate’s building on Friday. A vehicle drove by, shots were fired, then the vehicle took off, Gamble said.
Video from the scene showed a window with at least three bullet holes.
The gunfire comes as the station reported that protesters had gathered outside Thursday to decry ABC's decision to pull Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show from air over comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
Sacramento police said it had not determined if Friday afternoon's gunfire was related to Kimmel's removal.

Here’s what one pastor had to say about him. 19:10-21:15 is the especially relevant bit.
“How you die does not redeem how you lived.”
I’ll say “amen!” to that.
Kirk was a bigot. It certainly doesn’t mean he should’ve been assassinated, but reframing him as a hero as many on the right are trying to do is harmful, especially to the people he harmed over the years with his racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, antisemitism, etc.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/former-classmate-alleges-charlie-kirk-s-high-school-bullying-was-relentless-and-led-to-near-suicide/vi-AA1MSg4e?ocid=BingHp01&cvid=dea9e388ef1e406186426953459212ea&ei=15
This is why hate speech must be criminalized, as in many other nations.

Jimmy Kimmel's show returning on Tuesday, ABC announces
Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show will return to ABC’s airwaves on Tuesday, nearly a week after it was suspended amid criticism of the host’s remarks about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
“Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” Disney, which owns ABC, said in a statement Monday. “It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive.”
“We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday,” Disney added.
Jimmy Kimmel suspension might have been a factor in shooting at Sacramento ABC affiliate, DA says
There's “circumstantial evidence” that Anibal Hernandez Santana, 64, had "a political motive behind" the shooting Friday, Sacramento County District Attorney Thien Ho told NBC News.
"So there are some indication here that the motive behind the shooting of the ABC news station was political in kind," he said.
"We’re still looking at investigating the case, but he chose a very particular target, and with the notes that he left behind and the target in place and the recent dismissal of the Jimmy Kimmel show, I think there’s circumstantial evidence there to show that this was politically motivated crime by this individual."
Hernandez Santana, a former lobbyist, was accused of firing into the building that houses KXTV, ABC’s Sacramento affiliate.
Video and images from the scene show bullet holes in a window. No one was injured.
The suspect is also set to face federal charges of possessing and firing a gun near a school and interference with radio communications, court documents showed Monday.
A search of the suspect’s car unearthed writings about his displeasure with President Donald Trump and other federal officials, according to a federal criminal complaint.
A handwritten note specifically said: “For hiding Epstein & ignoring red flags. Do not support Patel, Bongino, & AG Pam Bondie. They’re next," according to the complaint.
The writing appears to refer to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino and Attorney General Pam Bondi.

^^^ A few brave voices are breaking through the wall to wall praise for Kirk like he was some type of mother Theresa
https://www.communityvoiceks.com/2025/0 ... ped-bully/
But read the comments below the opinion piece I posted. People actually don't care Kirk was a bully. Infact many leaders were once bullies, including famously Barak Obama. I think somehow people want strong debaters as leaders. Bullies win by personal ad hominem attacks. winning by any means necessary is (I'm afraid) admired. Look at trump. Or to use Hollywood memes, Kobra Kai is now more popular > Karate kid.

Nexstar's ABC affiliates will keep Jimmy Kimmel show off the air for now
"We made a decision last week to preempt 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' following what ABC referred to as Mr. Kimmel’s 'ill-timed and insensitive' comments at a critical time in our national discourse," the company said in a news release. "We stand by that decision pending assurance that all parties are committed to fostering an environment of respectful, constructive dialogue in the markets we serve."
Nexstar's announcement adds to Sinclair, another major local TV operator, which said Monday that it would not air Kimmel's show.
Together, Nexstar and Sinclair account for more than 50 ABC affiliates, meaning Kimmel's return will not be available over broadcast to tens of millions in the U.S.
Disney announced that Kimmel would return on Tuesday. But station owners Nexstar and Sinclair have stood their ground on pre-empting the show on their ABC affiliates.
The show "will be available nationwide on multiple Disney-owned streaming products, while our stations will focus on continuing to produce local news and other programming relevant to their respective markets," Nexstar said Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Disney+ announced it would hike prices on Oct. 21. The price increase, which will apply to most of its plans, comes as some on social media were threatening to unsubscribe from the service over the company's handling of Kimmel's show.
The situation is complicated by major business moves from both Sinclair and Nexstar. Sinclair is exploring merger options for its broadcast business, which would also require FCC clearance, CNBC reported.
Nexstar is seeking FCC approval for a $6.2 billion merger with fellow station owner Tegna.
