You sound bitter about your inability to convince anyone that your world view is reasonable.
Perhaps if you adopted a more reasonable world view you'd have greater success.

There you go again, trying to put me in a group. I don't want a group, or a following. I don't need approval. What I do works for me.

Whether or not you wish to identify as part of a group, you're part of many. Society is formed by groups, it's an inherent part of our nature as social animals.

As for the group I've placed you in, if you espouse the same ideological positions as the other right-wingers on here, why wouldn't you be perceived as part of that group? Your preference to not be viewed as part of a group isn't relevant when discussing whether or not you appear to fit within a group.

I don't think its a secret she associates with the group who hate Obama and his legacy focus on Antifa violence whenever Trump or the alt-right are mentioned...

I think we're supposed to ignore the patterns and just pretend she's the same independent thinker she views herself as, no matter how much evidence shows otherwise.

It's kinda like edgy teenagers who all wear the same non-conformist uniform while insisting that they're the only ones who refuse to conform.

Prove me** wrong and demonstrate some individuality. Conforming to another standard isn't the same as not conforming.

** Or really yourself, since that's not really what I was saying even if it's how you chose to interpret it.

This is an old conservative canard, dating back to the Cold War. Call every leftist you don't like communist, which is exactly what you're calling Kraichgauer.

I don't dislike Bill. I have just seen in his writings that he wants to see capitalism replaced by socialism. I've seen that in your writings too. So it's like 'don't call us communists because we say that we want a socialist government'?

Look, it's not my problem if you can't tell the difference between different groups on the left. I guess when you're so far to the right, all of us just look the same to you.

As has been pointed out many times, I tend to focus on the left more than the right. In other words what I have ascertained about the left, has come from the left.

If you are so focused on the left, then why haven't you learned to distinguish terms like Marxist, socialist, and social democracy?

Not so focused, just more focused. I was talking to Bill, whom I have been talking to for a years. And my response was in relation to years of discourse. Yes, I was adressing Bill as an individual, rather than as part of a collective.

I don't know why you got super active here after being dormant for so long, but you have a tendency to chime in on conversations between people who have a longstanding repport that you don't understand.

I’d advise you to actually learn from Kraichgauer, so you can understand the left from more than just right-wing talking points.

Once again, it's left wing talking points that I focus on. And I have learned much, but not the way you want me to as in being assimilated.

Funny how they keep identifying themselves as such.

You're the only one who buys into your notion of 'the 5'. You've insinuated that several posters are part of your imaginary league of extraordinary posters, and some of those you've hinted at have asked you to clarify your ambiguous identification. Refusing to explicitly name names doesn't make this notion any less a creation of your own bored imagination and I'd advise anyone who thinks they might be among who you have in mind to stop playing your game with you.

I insinuated, they confirmed by identifying themselves as such. One of them even made out a list of names of who it pertains to. Closing the barn door after the cow got away isn't going to help any.

Asking for you to confirm something you're choosing to be ambiguous about isn't quite the same as self-identifying without prompting. Pretending that it isn't your creation isn't going to fool anyone who's been participating in this.

Actually there have been those who separated from society and survived just fine on their own.

As a genuinely disabled person, I am saying there are people looking for a handout. See I'm not looking for one, I am stuck with having one. And I do not like it. I do not like having to be provided for, instead of being able to provide for myself.

That's the difference between someone like me and someone looking for handouts.

How do you know that those you denigrate also aren't truly in need? Just because their disability isn't as extreme as yours doesn't mean that they're faking it for a handout.
Who lives outside of society without human help? Even if there are a few, they are the exception not the rule.

I am talking about those who are genuinely in need and have absolutely no other recourse vs those looking for a handout.

The only problem is, people in genuine need are described by elements on the right as being parasites and eaters.

As usual I have heard that from many on the left umpteen times, but not from the right. In other words that notion is proliferated to a huge extent by the left.

Then you have selective hearing.
A few years ago, one Louisiana Republican state legislator described what he saw as caring for the needy, as - - "If you feed stray dogs, they keep coming back."
I've heard Tea baggers say about caring for those without or disabled: "I don't see why I have to pay for it."
And so on, and so on. For all their talk of making people on public assistance look for jobs and work, I have yet to hear any of them address the question about lack of jobs, or lack of jobs that allow one to live. I'll probably die of a heart attack if any of them suggest that businesses be compelled to hire people with good wages and benefits.

And I think you miss the point that people who go into that fast food business did so because perhaps they never wanted to deal with that. I'm sure that when McDonald's and Colonel Sanders and Wendy's were at the drawing board they never thought that 40 year old people would choose fast food as a career. They probably figured high school kids would do it for a couple years to get extra money.

Now, people think fast food restaurants workers should have a union, negotiate for wages. They may already do that. I'm sorry, I think that's crazy. Flipping a burger is not a career... it's a place to start, a place to make a little extra, a place if you are bored, or a place to end if you need to supplement your retirement. It's not a career.

People in their 40's and older are employed by fast food. What's wrong with them being able to share in the American dream by gaining a better wage through collective bargaining?
Different circumstances dictate different paths in life. Some become CEO's of big businesses, others flip burgers and only want to make the best out of a so-so situation, and some of us live in genteel poverty as starving artists and wouldn't trade it for the world.

Nothing if they are special needs, a kid, or an old person.

If they are the average individual, with a normal IQ, they've missed the boat. You seem to think I'm against poverty, I'm not. What I am against is someone trying to flip the script so that all of their lack of effort somehow pays off. You get exactly what you put in... If you want better, you will find a way. It's not honorable to learn nothing and then try and extort people into paying higher wages for a job that it takes zero thinking skills to do.

If you are a logger, taking your life into your own hands and busting you hump everyday, then YES. If you are a burger flipper, standing all day, then NO. If you are a Zamboni operator, in the freezing cold, then YES! If you are a balloon blower upper, then NO. Are you understanding what I'm saying yet? If a monkey could do the job you are doing, then NO. If a monkey cannot do the job you are doing, then YES.

Yes, everyone, even with the most menial of jobs.
If capitalism isn't just some gigantic swindle by those at the top of the food chain to squeeze as much work out of the rest of us for as little pay as they can get away with, then everyone should be able to get ahead, either by running a business or by collective bargaining.
