Michigan Medicine will not open field hospital due to curve 'significantly flattening'
(WXYZ) — Michigan Medicine will not open a field hospital as it was initially planned due to the curve "significantly flattening."
It continues to plan for a potential need, but there is no definite date on which the field hospital would open at this time.
"It appears from current COVID-19 cases and modeling that the curve is significantly flattening," a Michigan Medicine spokeswoman said.

The third number is "underlying conditions unknown."
The fourth number is "total number of deaths."
For the 0-17 age group, for example, there were 3 deaths among people with underlying conditions. Zero deaths among people with no underlying conditions. Zero deaths where "underlying conditions are under investigation." For a total of 3 deaths. It shows up here as "3 0 0 3."
The total number of deaths as of 12:30 PM April 11th:
Underlying conditions: 4276
No underlying conditions: 110
Underlying conditions unk: 1077

What I was interested in is something that gives the total number of New Your citizens who died in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 etc. Not Covid info. There is mountains of Covid info.
I can easily see that 8,627 New Yonkers are reported to have died from Covid19.
The question is how many New Yonkers died in 2018 and other pre-covid years.
It should be a simple figure like there were 43,000 deaths in New York in 2018.

Tomorrow (Easter Sunday) my mom and I will attempt a clandestine operation to pick up relatives for Easter dinner.

I tried to help find what you're looking for Ez. I couldn't find any tables or charts with data but I found this:

It probably exists within a records office that may or may not have internet access available to the public. It is not something that just be googled up apparently. And also covid19 dominates such searches.
Here in Australia Asianization is only happening in secondary schooling where traditional vocational pathways, sport, popular music, dance and hands on skills are no longer offered because asian parents are forcing school adminstrators to only offer university entrance pathways and traditionally "Asian" centric extra-curricular activities like classical music, robotics and chess (My daughter's music school for piano and violin is 95% east Asian). I assume the latter help develop IQ because east Asians play Mozart to their babies to make them smart.
You are trying to role play the mythical buddhiist monk Sifu beating his acolytes with a bamboo walking stick to get them to think for themselves
Someone who sticks up for themselves or refuse to be gaslighted obviously doesn't have self-esteem issues.
Relevant to title of the thread is this...
At risk of TMI (safety etc) this is in my city

A Markham home for adults with physical and mental disabilities is in a state of emergency after 10 patients and two staff members tested positive for the coronavirus and several staff walked off the job.
An outbreak was declared at the Participation House’s Butternut Lane site on Thursday, which currently houses 42 residents. A few coronavirus tests are still pending.
A release from the home says their staffing levels are dangerous low and they are in critical need of personal protective equipment. “we are seeking any and all assistance possible to ensure our vulnerable residents are fed and cared for,” read the update.
According to Executive Director Shelley Brillinger, most of the staff is made up of Personal Support Workers and they, along with some other permanent staff, walked off the job Thursday over the risk of becoming infected with COVID-19.
They currently have six staff members and 35 are needed to run the home.
The remaining management is attempting to run the home now. Markham-Stouffville Hospital is currently supplying them with food and the Central Local Health Integration Network is currently providing emergency staffing.
Health Minister Christine Elliott was asked about the outbreak Friday and says they clearly need to get staff there.
“The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services and others, I’m sure, are making sure that people will be there to care for this incredibly vulnerable population,” said Elliott.
Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti has also issued an emergency call for anyone willing to donate any personal protective equipment, adding the home is in critical need of PSWs and nurses.
The six other sites run by Participation House have not been impacted at this time.

In my experience PSWs are either liars+lazy+ extremely neglectful+uncaring with non-verbal clients like my son...
or good but not too bright...
or good and capable but held back by horrible agencies and their bosses and the rules they are made to follow are inhumane and immoral. (They get in trouble for the stupidest things, if they followed some of those rules, they would put the client at risk.)
So it doesn't come as a surprise that they didn't have personal protective equipment supplied to them...
The fact that donations are being asked for at this point when the damage is already done...when the govt was ok to send tons of quarantine equipment to homes where kids were just coughing...

This topic belongs elsewhere please. Gone off track. The subject matter is Emergence of a Deadly Coronavirus. It's become a discussion on severity of autism / comparisons with others.

Your efforts weren't in vain. Evidently you weren't the only one.

All one has to do, in order to prove there are extra deaths, is to find data on the amount of expired people who are placed in funeral homes, and the amount of people buried in places like “Potter’s Field.”
And compare it to the data from one year ago.
I wish I could access this information. I believe this data would prove that there were extra deaths in places like NYC, and that the extreme measures taken were justifiable, and not an attempt to impose a political ideology upon a populace.
This Pandemic is true. It has taken the lives of extremely unlucky people who should not have died. I am fortunate I only had mild symptoms and are still healthy today.

I remember you commenting, early on, about how people on the subway weren't using masks.
In the beginning, the attitude was laissez-faire.
I believe some of the people in charge encouraged it.
The same sort of thing happened in Italy.
It was thought useless for healthy people to wear masks. This idea might have been related to the relative scarcity of masks at that point in time.
Later on, the wearing of masks was encouraged, but not legislated.
Nowadays, the majority of people in the streets of my neighborhood wear masks when they are outside. And they keep 6 feet, or 2 meters, apart from other people.
