Thanks. That's on the input side. One should also work on the output side, meaning exercising.
Yesterday the weather was nice, so I took my kids and went for a hike in the local state park. The park was packed, many more people than usual.
I mentioned this to some friends in a local online group, and two more families told me that they also went to the park! Ha ha. Everybody had the same idea. The battle is already over: the virus won. Now it's all about boosting one's physical strength and resilience. That's why all of a sudden you see a lot more people exercising.
Some of my children's group activities are already cancelled for the coming weeks. I just got the notice last night. I am not sure how much longer the public schools can hold on. My guess is not much longer.
One has to envy Taiwan. They still manage to keep the schools open. They can do that because they fight really hard against this virus: testing on people like crazy and chasing down all the leads. US is just too big and too loosely organized, and frankly, has no experience fighting an epidemic. I have no hope, at all. Yeah, Taiwan will collapse at some point, too. But you have to give them credit for a battle well fought.
