Trump wants to deport people here for medical reasons.

It truly is disgusting, first I saw about it was in the disability community on reddit, anyways here's an article.
This is just barbaric.
lol This is wonderful. But there are some things you seem terribly confused about.
Firstly, deporting people that are disabled is something every nation in the world does. Fat people too. That is a good thing. Why would you want fat, disabled, rude, criminals in your country? WTH?
Trump is not doing this. He is only the President. The USA is a Republic. I don't know why so few people know that.
Also, the article mentions that these people are immigrants. But then it talks about them needing permission to stay in America and things like that. Immigrants can live in work in the USA for life. They need to special permission. It sounds like they are actually ILLEGAL ALIENS that sneaked in and broke a bunch of laws and committed a bunch of crimes.
It states that Trump wants to take welfare away from immigrants. Immigrants have never been able to collect welfare. I was an immigrant. So was my wife. And my parents. A ban a welfare is the reason one is required to secure a legal Financial Guarantor before immigrating. That has ALWAYS been a thing. And, Trump is not doing anything.
Additionally, what is "Latino" about breaking the law and stealing welfare? US law applies to all ethnicities.
Also, as it seems they are not immigrants at all, but illegal aliens, they DEFINITELY should not be on welfare! Why do you think WE should pay for illegal criminal foreigners to come to our country and receive free healthcare? When many of US do not qualify! I applied for healthcare for DECADES, before I could actually get it. Why should illegals get it?
It also says that Trump is separating families at the border. Again, not Trump. Customs and Border Patrol. The US Government. Not Trump. But it is not families. It is sick people trafficking child sex slaves. Do you mean to tell me that you support raping children?
Maybe "Trump" can start deporting some citizens that believe in breaking the law and hurting Americans?
Hope these people go back to where they are from and rot in Hell!

No, most immigrants are not criminals, even if they are fat or disabled.
Yes, children are being separated from their parents at the border. No, those children are not being trafficked as prostitutes.
No, Trump is not doing all those things by himself, but those agencies who are simply are carrying out his policies. So, yes, in the long run it is Trump.
We're not just talking about welfare, but any sort of public assistance to feed one's family. How many immigrants had started not only with nothing but also took help from the government, and then went on to be successful? Many.
The article mistakenly called them immigrants. They actually are illegal aliens. And 100% of them are criminals.
lol What? Why are you supporting child rape?
No. Trump is only the president.
Immigrants have never qualified for welfare. Illegals should not get something that immigrants cannot get.
Why did you respond to me without first reading? So disgusting and annoying.
Immigrants, whether legal or illegal, are still immigrants. As for them all being 100% criminals - - no, they are not, as crossing the border is a misdemeanor, no worse than, say, jaywalking.
Child rape? From which orifice did you suck that from?
Yes, Trump is the President. Did you think that means he has no power over immigration policy and enforcement?
I did read your post, and found it full of inanities. I chose to still respond.

Ok!
Here are the issues that I take with what you say.
1. The majority of the people here in our nation claim to be Bible believing Christians. There are many verses in their that admonish people to help the sick, the poor, the needy. Shouldn't our laws reflect true Christians values such as this? Yet, today's Christians scorn the needy and the poor.
2. The inscription on the statue of liberty's base says "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free." If we're only going to take in the healthy, the more well to do, the skilled, etc then maybe we ought to send the statue of liberty back to France.
3. Another thing, when someone complains about the country whether we were born here or not we are always told to love it or leave it. If the world even has more restrictions as to who can come in and reside then how can one do this. Don't say this as a cop out when one complains.
1. USA is not a theocracy. No ancient myths can be a basis for laws.
2. Statue of Liberty does not dictate legislation.
3. It is a fact. The US is way too weak and should be more strict about immigration.
It's the right that wants to make America a theocracy. The rest of us just think our morality should be guided by the love and compassion taught by religion.
The Statue of Liberty speaks of our national ideals of empathy and kindness toward those who have nothing.

Immigrants can't be illegal. Illegal aliens are 100% criminals. A misdemeanor is a serious crime. And they have no criminal clearance. No medical clearance. And in order to live and work in the USA, they commit fraud, get fake IDs, don't pay taxes, claim other people's tax returns, get fraudulent credit cards, mortgages, car loans. Rape, murder, steal, drug deal, etc. Why are you supporting foreigners coming in and hurting Americans???
The president does not. The USA is a republic. What country are you from?

You missed my point.
The point was you hate democracy and freedom? Well, that is too bad, isn't it?
Typical from when I question those who say these things.
Point is, since we're going to be a condescending a**hole and spout conservative dribble that is not new, that the majority of the population claim to be Christians. The Bible exhorts Christians to exhort and help the poor. They claim our country is a Christian country with Christian roots. They believe as you do though which is anathema to what the Bible says. How can they claim this nation is a Christian nation when it is not so at all? This is for number 1.
For number 2, if we are not going to live by the words written on it then let's get rid it.
No, I don't hate democracy (I thought we was a constitutional republic and not a democracy) and freedom but what I hate is hypocrisy. And, that is one difference between our nation and others.

Who cares? No one is talking about mythology. Has nothing to do with the conversation.
Go ahead. Get rid of every other memorial and statue in the USA if you care to and have the means to. It's not my business. This thread is not about statues.
It's a democracy.

1. Many Christians claim our nation was based upon Christian values. Yet, they ignore parts where the Bible says we're supposed to help the sick, needy, etc.
2. Then return the f*****g statue.
3. Our nation is hypocritical.
Who cares what some wackos say? Who cares what an ancient myth says?
It's not mine.
Probably. Maybe you can be more specific?
Yet, these "wackos" who cherry pick from the Bible and ancient myths have major clout in shaping public policy.
Are you a Christian by the way? Other religion? Atheist? Agnostic?
A number of people I've encountered online and in real life who were Christians have similar beliefs that you do. If you're not a Christian then all of this is a moot point for you. If one looks at statistics the majority of people are Christian. They don't see the Bible as myth and they vote with their Biblical values and make policies based upon those Biblical values or really what they cherry pick.
For number 2, if we are not going to live by the words written on it then let's get rid it.
No, I don't hate democracy (I thought we was a constitutional republic and not a democracy) and freedom but what I hate is hypocrisy. And, that is one difference between our nation and others.
1. Jesus and his disciples took care of their own poor. Took care of the children of Abraham. When a foreign woman askd Jesus for aid he said "it is not right to take the childrens (of Abraham) bread and toss it to the dogs".
Now that doesn't mean that Jesus was agaist foreign aid, because he did end up helping her. But it sems pretty clear the children of Abraham took priority.
2. The Statue of Liberty did not come with that inscribed plague. Also the poem inscribed on it is very derogatory, literally referring to immigrants as garbage. Those going on what Emma Lazarus wrote don't seem to acknowledge how un-PC it is.

We're not? That would then be a surprise to my German ancestors who came to America with millions of others in order to be free.

That's only half the story. Jesus helped her anyhow when she replied, "But even dogs eat crumbs from the master's table." As Jesus had helped a Roman centurion whose slave he loved like a son was sick, he obviously was only testing the woman's faith. Regardless, it's hardly a great argument against foreign aid.
Who cares if the poem wasn't originally on the statue? It's still keeping with the idealism behind the statue.

Bill, I already wrote in the second pragraph of my post that Jesus helped her. Please read my entire posts before committing on them. I'm usually very succinct so that's not asking for much.

What crimes most illegal immigrants commit are victimless, in order that they can stay here and provide a better life for their children. Most do not commit the violent crimes that you attribute to them, and in fact most Americans born citizens are more likely to commit such crimes.
I'm an American, born right here. What country or planet are you from?

I may have worded my response clumsily, as I did see your post. I was mostly illustrating how Christ was willing to help anyone.

And I was illustrating how the children of Israel were the primary recipients of help. Jesus made it clear his job was to help them. His disciples wanted to send her away. iow send her back where she came from. It seems to me that Jesus helping the Canaanite woman and the Roman centurian were the exception to the rule.
Btw there was nothing clumsy about your reply. You just went off on the first part of what I wrote instead of reading the whole thing and taking a minute to digest it.

No, Ezra, I've been up writing and I just got tired. I think I got more than one thought in my head when I responded to you.
