The question is, as always, about boundaries: while protests against various gov policies should always be possible, the level of tolerated disruption in public space should be defined - so ambulances and fire brigades can always reach emergencies, trash can be removed, infrastructure can be maintained, public and private properties are not destroyed, etc.
I hold this view about both protests with which I agree and disagree.
Many of these people have been pushed over the edge.
Their entire livelihood has been destroyed.
The same happened over here.
Draconian and irrational edicts by soulless and unaffected government protagonists tend to piss people off.
Mandates are a nonsense that most of the world is in the process of rejecting because the only people who are really affected are those who choose not to take the vaccination.
*New* research suggests that the infection transmission rates are barely any different between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.
"Trust the science", even the unpoliticised science one doesn't like.

Also, there are trouble makers in every group, but this protest has been overwhelmingly peaceful, unlike the BLM riots.
