No previously known underlying health conditions.


Mid or Late thirties.

It took 2 days of obvious symptoms--he died the second day. .


1st day he had upset tummy only..
dr said to take tylenol etc.

2nd day was rushed to hospital as drastically worsened and died there without even enough time to hook him onto anything or do anything ..

The city is storing dead bodies in refrigerated trucks set up in a Brooklyn parking lot as it grapples with a growing number of corpses amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The trailers stretched from 36th to 39th streets along Second Avenue in Sunset Park on Monday.

City Hall acknowledged that the trucks are part of a fleet being used for the long-term storage of dead bodies. As of Monday, 30 percent of the trucks were filled.

“In Sunset Park, close to where I live, there are now 27 refrigeration trucks. The scale of this unfathomable,” tweeted Josh Begley, who lives in the neighborhood.

The Medical Examiner’s Office told Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams it is setting up a location at a pier by 39th Street to “store bodies.”

City Hall spokeswoman Avery Cohen said in a statement that “many of these [trucks] are empty and thus require a place to be parked.”

The city’s largest police union is demanding cops get “out of the social distancing enforcement business,” while slamming New York pols for “releasing criminals,” “discouraging proactive policing,” and leaving subways “in chaos.”

“This situation is untenable: the NYPD needs to get cops out of the social distancing enforcement business altogether,” a statement from Police Benevolent Association president Patrick Lynch said.

“The cowards who run this city have given us nothing but vague guidelines and mixed messages, leaving the cops on the street corners to fend for ourselves,” Lynch said. “Nobody has a right to interfere with a police action. But now that the inevitable backlash has arrived, they are once again throwing us under the bus.”

Lynch was referring to a fracas that erupted as NYPD cops were trying to enforce social distancing rules over the weekend in the East Village and a cop was caught on video slapping and hitting a bystander who appeared to challenge him.

Cops were trying to disperse a group of people near the corner of East Ninth Street and Avenue D around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, when Shakiem Brunsom and Ashley Serrano allegedly refused to move along and resisted cops’ efforts to cuff them, police said.

One of the cops, identified by police sources as Officer Francisco Garcia, got into a fight with bystander Donni Wright, 33, police sources said. The cop was placed on modified duty and stripped of his gun and shield, police sources said. The Manhattan district attorney declined to prosecute Wright and he was set free.

Lynch added that the politicians are “still watering down our laws, releasing real criminals and discouraging proactive enforcement of fare evasion and quality of life issues.”

“As a result, our subways are in chaos and we have hero nurses getting mugged on their way to our hospitals,” he said, referring to a nurse who had her phone torn out of her hand in Times Square on April 26. “As the weather heats up and the pandemic continues to unravel our social fabric, police officers should be allowed to focus on our core public safety mission. If we don’t, the city will fall apart before our eyes.”

Public Advocate Jumaane Williams also wants cops out of the social distancing business but for different reasons. He believes the process is racist.

A popular Miami Beach green space was reportedly closed Monday — five days after reopening — because nearly 9,000 people were caught violating the park’s mask policy.

South Pointe Park had initially opened back up Wednesday, along with other green spaces in Miami-Dade County, after being closed for over six weeks to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.

With the reopening, Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez ordered parkgoers to wear facial coverings, a policy largely ignored by those at South Pointe Park.

From Wednesday to Sunday, park rangers issued 8,880 verbal warnings to people at South Pointe Park for going maskless, according to the Miami Herald, citing police.

The majority of those warnings — 5,261 — occurred over the weekend — even after the city closed the parking lot Sunday in an effort to control the crowds.

City Manager Jimmy Morales told the paper in a statement that other city parks reopened successfully, but South Pointe Park “is the most egregious exception.”

“We have had city staff in the park to encourage people to comply, but they were met with hostility and non-compliance,” he said.

“There is no way to effectively enforce social distancing when hundreds of individuals refuse to do so. The best way to protect our residents and first responders is to keep it closed until further notice.”

I'm wondering if these are people with a predisposition or family history of blood clots/stroke? how representative are they of the wider population is what is relevant?

Most normal patients are not on dialysis machines and most normal patients are not on *full* doses of Heparin,
although some hospitals do give *low dose* heparin as a prophylactic.
