I tried to locate the source of the photo. Apparently it was hung out on a highway overpass in Upstate New York on Mother's Day. That would put it on 10 May.

This photograph is "A red-belled woodpecker was spotted May 4, 2020 in Grand Island [in Erie County, New York - the west side of the state which is significantly colder than New York City.] As you can see, the trees were not budded out a week earlier.



The article that included the photograph stated:

The bone-headed move resulted in the deaths of thousands of senior citizens living in nursing homes.

In March, Cuomo mandated that nursing homes must accept coronavirus patients even though older people are the most at-risk to die from COVID-19. Making matters worse was the fact that nursing homes did not have personal protective equipment or COVID testing capability.

Shockingly, the mainstream media not only gave Cuomo a pass on the scandal, but lionized him as a hero.

A Twitter user shared a heartbreaking photo of a bed sheet hanging off a highway overpass in Upstate New York. The ominous words “Cuomo Killed My Mom” were scrawled in red across the sheet.

Elaine Mazzotta is a nurse whose mother died last month at a Long Island nursing home. She says Cuomo’s inane decision accelerated the outbreaks of coronavirus in nursing homes, which have proven to be breeding grounds for infectious diseases.

The way this has been handled by the state is totally irresponsible, negligent and stupid,” Mazzotta told the AP. “They knew better. They shouldn’t have sent these [COVID-infected] people into nursing homes.”

J.C. Penney files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, plans some permanent store closings

J.C. Penney, reeling from a one-two punch of the department store industry’s struggles and the coronavirus pandemic, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Friday.

The company, which had racked up an unsustainable amount of debt in recent years, plans to close an unspecified number of stores permanently in a bid to survive bankruptcy. The retailer had 845 stores at the end of 2019, according to real estate data source CoStar Portfolio Strategy.

We got just an email from management saying that the building will remain closed until they can obtain adequate Personal Protection Equipment for the employees. They are having difficulty. Most of us are working from home until then.

I wonder how long it will be before someone can see the POTUS without having to take a Coronavirus screening test?

What kind of building are you referring to? I was in Menard's Building Supply Co. a couple days ago. They had a sign as you entered that said no one is admitted into the store unless they wear a face mask. But on the other hand, they also offered to sell a face mask for $1 to anyone who entered the store and didn't have one. Seems reasonable.

So I suspect that face mask are probably available at this time. Many stores are carrying hand sanitizing gel. It may be off brand but probably still a good substitute. So I wonder what PPE management was referring to. So unless the building was a hospital, nursing home or some other facility that required N95 mask, I find inability to obtain PPE to be a strange excuse at the moment. [But then again, I do not know where you live.]

I would agree with that. But there is a simple fix for that. Install UVC sanitizers in the HVAC ductwork. They have been on the market for years now. The UVC technology was discussed in page 52 of this thread on 7 March.

But you are right, the latest research on the coronavirus indicated the coronavirus can be transmitted in HVAC systems.

But there are no stats to support an increase due to financial difficulties, atm, thank fully.

A massive amount of research is going into creating a vaccine for the CV.
