Again, I do not believe that American unions as organizations are associated with radical Islam. I have never seen the proof, and I doubt that it exists.

And I still don't think there's a connection. Just because Glenn Beck and company says it's so doesn't mean that it is. Union members are us Americans. @ Kraichgauer

Funny cause you admitted earlier that there were Unions present in the video.

Well looks like Glenn is onto something.

Just because there were a few whack jobs who happen to belong to unions present at this hate rally hardly means all unions are supportive of them.

I don't think all the people in the video were rank and file members, we're talking the Union Leadership.

Which I know isn't true. And neither are unions as organizations tied to Islamic extremists.

Funny, because the Democrats and the rest of the left tries to paint every tea party member as racist all the time.

I hardly saw the leadership of the AFL-CIO there. In all honesty, I've never even heard of the unions present there. And even if they were affiliated with the bigger unions, that doesn't mean those nut cases weren't there on their own time.

And I don't think the American Conservatives realize that they are being played for fools by the capitalist cabal that they idolize.

But I guess it is better to be suckered inside your own borders than from outside.

Some of his personal views match mine. If you take the time to read the article it lends a better understanding of the man behind his popular culture comments. If you listen to his show some of his comments may be more a reflection on your (public general "left" views) than what his personal views are. That it what a Popular Culture Commentator does.

He’s not a registered member of that party, either. The Grand Old Party has made him angry in recent years because the deficit has soared under its watch. An influential cheerleader for the fiscally conservative Tea Party movement, he’s even willing to take a shot at the GOP’s patron saint of modern presidents, Ronald Reagan, who was no slouch in driving up a deficit. “Republicans sold the American people out,” Beck says. “I’ve always said I was a Reagan-style conservative. But I don’t think Reagan was a real Republican. He just maintained some shared values.”

http://www.usaweekend.com/article/20100 ... -his-cover

He is referring to the spending before the Democrats got back the House in 2007 and exasperated the problem by ridiculous spending that President Bush should have vetoed (which he should have used his veto powers a lot more than he did in the first place).

If you are talking about the bailouts, both sides can be held accountable for that. There just isn't much difference in what Republicans and Democrats actually accomplish anymore. Chances are if the Republicans had come up with a Health care plan it would have also included a mandate. And if so, I wouldn't be surprised if the Democrats would complain about the constitutionality of it to try argue for a public option.

Just cause something sounds crazy at first glance doesn't mean it isn't true.

Journ'O'list is an example of how a supposed crazy conspiracy theory was actually real.

But saying that the peaceful labor protests in Wisconsin, by patriotic American workers, will lead to a world wide caliphate is nuts.
Even saying that there is a conspiracy between international communism and radical Islam is not only nuts, but is laughably misinformed. Fundamentalist Muslims hate communism, while communists have no interest in seeing anything other than a secular state anywhere established. When Beck talks about communists, he more often than not is referring to Red China. As a matter of fact, the western half of China is inhabited by the Uyger people, who are fiercely Islamic to the point that the Chinese leaders in Beijing feel threatened by the rise of radical Islam there. So no, Beck is wrong about that, as well, because the Chinese communists don't want to encourage domestic enemies.
Then there is the idea that all these forces are joining together out of hatred of Jews and Israel. Oh, sure, he has radical Islam's ticket there, but I've never seen any reason why the Red Chinese should. And the idea that American labor as a movement is Antisemitic is clearly libelous.

Spitting on people, vandalism, heck some people have even been hit with signs, that is hardly peaceful.

Committing fraud, is a felony quite frankly every single teacher that took a doctor's note to participate in this should be FIRED! Heck if I acted like they did at my work I would be fired and for damn good reason.

And when individual tea partiers shout racial slurs, or have bigoted messages on their signs, I know you don't want all members of the tea party painted with the same brush. So don't do it to union protesters.

@ Kraichgauer

Your claims don't hold water especially since the left got caught trying to haul in bogus protestors to try to smear the tea partiers. Furthermore, if the tea partiers were committing all kinds of violence and mayhem the left wing media would be blabbing about it until they were blue in the face.

See the Tuscon, Arizona shootings, they rushed to blame every conservative they could think of with absolutely no evidence, and continued to try after the evidence emerged that contradicted the accusation.

Last March, as thousands protested on Capitol Hill in the days before the passage of ObamaCare, CBS's Nancy Cordes slammed it as "a weekend filled with incivility," while World News anchor Diane Sawyer painted the Tea Party as a violent gang, with "protesters roaming Washington, some of them increasingly emotional, yelling slurs and epithets." In August 2009, ABC anchor Charles Gibson complained how "protesters brought pictures of President Obama with a Hitler-style mustache to a town hall meeting," failing to mention that the signs were produced by Lyndon LaRouche's wacky fringe movement, not the Tea Party or conservatives.

Over the past several days, the liberal demonstrations in Wisconsin (bolstered by the national Democratic Party and President Obama's Organizing for America group) have included signs just as inflammatory as the ones that bothered the networks during the health care debate, including several showing Governor Scott Walker as Adolph Hitler. Others have likened Walker to Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin ("Scott Stalin") and recently deposed Egyptian autocrat Hosni Mubarak ("Walker = Mubarak").

Another protest sign drew a cross-hairs over a picture of Governor Walker's head, with the caption "Don't Retreat, Reload; Repeal Walker" — an obvious parallel to a Facebook map posted by Sarah Palin last year, although that much-criticized graphic placed the target sights on maps of congressional districts, not any politician's face.

Yet none of these signs in the hands of liberal protesters have drawn the slightest complaint from network journalists. MRC analysts examined all 53 ABC, CBS and NBC morning and evening news stories, segments and anchor briefs on the Wisconsin protests from Thursday, February 17 (when they first drew major national coverage) through Monday, February 21. While eight of the 53 stories (15%) visually displayed one or more of the signs described above, none elicited a single remark from the network correspondents.

Instead, network journalists actually suggested the "Walker = Mubarak" theme of some of the more inflammatory signs. On Sunday's This Week, for example, ABC's Christiane Amanpour linked Wisconsin to the uprisings against oppressive dictatorships: "Populist frustration is boiling over this week, as we've said, not just in the Middle East, but in the middle of this country as well." So did NBC's Brian Williams on Friday's Nightly News: "From the Mideast to the American Midwest tonight, people are rising up. Citizens' uprisings are changing the world." NBC's on-screen caption: "The Uprising at Home."

Last March, as thousands protested on Capitol Hill in the days before the passage of ObamaCare, CBS's Nancy Cordes slammed it as "a weekend filled with incivility," while World News anchor Diane Sawyer painted the Tea Party as a violent gang, with "protesters roaming Washington, some of them increasingly emotional, yelling slurs and epithets."
