That's an atrocious statement. The Waco siege was mishandled severely by the ATF and 4 of their agents died for no real reason other than stubbornness of the superiors. The Davidians and the Weavers, etc. at those places weren't the only ones to die.
Before anyone says anything else, please remember you stated that Waco and Ruby Ridge were successful operations and implied as if these were good things. Federal agents died in both confrontations, and women and children died in Waco. A sniper killed a woman holding a baby at Ruby Ridge, and they actually had to assemble a panel to make sure something like the operation at Ruby Ridge would never happen again. The panel literally said that bullet never should have been fired. The Senate Committee even declared the operation unconstitutional.
Ruby Ridge and Waco were major black eyes to law enforcement. People died in those operations that should not have, especially the ATF agents at Waco. "Nature taking its course" meant those people were supposed to die as well. Shame on you for trying to pass these off for saying they were anything good like that.

BACK ON TOPIC:
Fred Phelps looks like the Tall Man from the Phantasm movies to me for some reason.
Also, how many people knew Fred Phelps was a civil rights activist? I find that rather strange.
(Sigh) It's called gallows humor.

I dont really think phelps is the same league as David Coresh and Jim Jones as those types are rather reclusive. He is anoying as hell...yes he has his little cult that goes around picketing funerals of children and soliders, but I dont think they deserve to die. As a bisexual, I doubt they would show me the same respect as a human being, though.
maybe a rocket-launched pie in the face.
Yes...I understand dark humor very well though...and get in equal amount of trouble for it.
hint dont ever tell your grieving father who is buying flowers over the internet for the funeral of a friend,
"why do they send flowers at a funeral? The person who catches them is the next to die??"
My brother did this...he was promptly screamed at. I actually thought it was a funny joke.
ok I will shut up now.

Y'know, If I'm ever at the funeral of someone I despise, I may just use that joke!
