I see it as proxy warfare between a western bloc and an eastern bloc.

Israel is only barely sovereign and is not the one called the Great Satan, fwiw.

To suggest that Israelis are essentially Western soldiers placed there in the middle of Eastern territory to fight a war against the East is a suggestion that casts the Israelis and their supporters as aggressors who picked a battle on that piece of territory that had been for centuries peaceful. It makes the West into the bad guys.

Ask anyone, the west are the bad guys. Invade other countries, give them gifts of blankets infected with Small Pox. We have the Maxim Gun, and they do not, and sending Cornwallis to India, to produce Opium to sell in China, where treaty ports were taken by shelling coastal cities, by the British Navy.

Genocide, drug addiction, Civil Wars, started and supplied, Banking, loans that became forever debts, and bribing government officials to loot the resources off the Louisiana coast, and other places.

The slavery Industry, war as a means of business, and as a free standing business where there was nothing to gain, except for the few who made war profits. Countries were invaded for no reason except it was possible, superior weapons, or they lacked a paper deed to the land they lived on.

The Ottoman Turkish Empire, the Japanese area of eastern trade, offended Europeans, who had been given rule over all of Earth by their god, king, or at least Bank.

The persuit of profit by any means, and if not profit, just making examples.

The last model was the Romans, and history compares to when Rome lost provence after provence, and the income looted, but still had the high cost of maintainig a murder machine.

At the end they were broke, and had no one to murder but each other. Rome vanishes, could not hold a single city, and at last reports, a few living in the tombs outside the city, cannibals, and insane.

The Eastern Empire did better, as they lived as a city that traded with all.

European Rome lived through an 800 year dark hangover, where no one read or wrote a book, built a town, when they lived in farm villages, paid protection to some local thugs, and lived short lives that left no record.

Their main skills were dying of the Black Death, and killing the neighbors. When they did get organized, it was to attack the Eastern Empire, because they read books. Along the way they killed everyone for practice,

The Islamic world considered then filthy, they were, and did not want to fight such diseased and foul smelling people. Their fellow Christians and the Jews welcomed them, and got slaughtered. Being driven back to Europe, they built boats and exported their culture worldwide.

They were so foul, just coming in contact with them killed millions. Survivors were killed, everything on the land was killed, They seem to be working from the idea that if Jesus lived in a desert, it is the will of god that the whole world becomes desert.

They are so sure that their ways are superior, that they are the only way, that they will kill anyone who follows a different path, has a tan, or speaks five languages, but has an accent.

Now the murder machine has run up huge debts, the economy has stalled, drought lasts year after year over bare dirt where once 90,000,000 buffalo roamed, 2 degree C global warming will not take till 2100, it is now on track for 2020, where there will be a snowball effect. 15-20 Degrees F warmer in your lifetime, maybe by 2040.

Just lasting till then, will take the resources of a whole other planet.
