Proud because of our military might and power. We are the greatest country of all time. We should be proud.

I am certainly proud that I can be critical of many aspects of our government and feel lucky to have so many options many other people can not have.

I could care less about the military and government problems. I just like all the shopping! When I visited Europe, I didn't see a single mall!

Why I'm ashamed to American, besides turning into a problematic drunkard of a nation this country is filled with people more interested in "Shopping" then politics and world affairs.

Every voice of dissent is five times more powerful then a conformist.

Real Patriots ask questions, traitors scream about loyalty and the perfection of government.

You're the future of this nation, there are no excuses for ignorance.

Proud,

Even when we were made a dump for Eurotrash, who stole out land, killed us, after we welcomed them, fed them, taught them to grow the three sisters, corn, beans, squash, they stole everything, thought we should be their slaves, because of their Tribal ownership of the Great Spirit. They did steal the Constitution of the Algonquins, the most perfect system ever developed. It brought us 600 years of peace.

This was ours for over 10,000 years, but then they came with Jesus and guns, still not sure which is their tribal god. Is there any word but genocide? You walk on the graves of my ancestors. These Deeds you claim, few even 200 years old. It was not bought, the owner was murdered, all of their family, and the killers wrote each other deeds?

We were 500 Nations, with profound aspie traits. The Great Spirit lead us to being one with the land, sharing it with all creatures. Up untill 1850 90,000,000 tonka moved over the Great Plains. They kept the grass mowed, and spread fertitlity. Now it is drought, and deserts grow. We developed Maize, beans, squash, many varities, a hundred other food crops, medicines, our science was well developed.

In 1300 you discovered zero, very good. You can claim cabbage. In 1937 the Sears Tower equaled the highth of a Mayan building. By 1950 you could measure time as well as a Mayan had 8000 years before.
What books we had you burned, No problem, we have memory, culture, someday when you are older I will explain what those words mean.

We welcomed you, then you did not want us for neighbors? Rounded up, marched down the trail of tears, so you would not have to face your guilt. Put in camps, guarded by soldiers, not allowed to hunt or farm. starved. Our words were forbidden, our songs, and when we started dancing, Ghost Dance, calling to our ancestors, beam me up, we are coming, make a place for us. We were slaughtered. There will be no dancing and singing in the camps. The Great White Father says you are hostiles.

After Chief Joseph's War 1895, the troops no longer came to kill the women, children, the old, babies. Starvation, isolation, white sickness, would do the job. We were in Gitmo. We had no rights, limited self rule in the camps, by white made rules, by those appointed by whites. We were made children of the BIA, and the lands set aside for camps were sold off.

The only time we were wanted was when you got in a war. Many served and then were refused citizenship, it was open to people, but we were not people, we were wards of the government, without legal standing. We were hostiles, prisoners of war, for generations, held in camps, without rights.

In 1976 we became Americans, it was one of those anti-welfare things, and to cut us off, our status had to change. When we tried to organize, to deal with our new status, we were declared hostiles again, and the FBI came, many were killed, everyone who spoke up. Spies, troublemakers, all the usual tricks.

Change was coming, in hidden places, and slowly we did gather. We are but a remanent of a people, tribes mixed, mostly breeds. But now the Choctaw are the tenth largest employer in Mississippi. Most of the tribe holds advanced degrees, so whites are hired. They can be trained, limited vision, they will give thier lives running one machine, for food, clothing, and shelter.

Since whites are not gifted with numbers, our casinos now bring in more than all of Las Vegas, and are growing rapidly, with golf, spas, family fun, water parks, and great food. Things are so good we are buying up the land around the camps. Singing and dancing are allowed, where no whites can see.

Education is big, we are turning into a professional class. White buffalo woman has returned. A sign we were given. In a vision quest a medicine man was shown the future. All is well, he said we will rise by taking the good the whites have stolen, which they do not understand the value of, what thief does?

He said our people are returning, for the age nears it's end. When asked how so few of us could again become a people, and regain the true path to wisdom, he said, " Our spirits will be reborn in white bodies, you will know them for they will be us, they will not lie, steal, they will be open to the Great Spirit, one with all nature, and went on to describe aspies. An epidemic you say, autisum, sorry to hear that, perhaps we can help, would it not be best if they came and lived with us? There is no place for them in the world, we will keep them out of sight.

The Fifth Age will end on December 23, 2013. It will be something in the air. it is the last day of the Mayan Long Count. We have known this for thousands of years. The Sixth Age will bring peace, for at least a thousand years, all of life will share the creation of the Great Spirit. Herds will grow, forests will return, the air and water will be pure again. Only the pure of heart will walk the trails of the future.

Yeah,T-Rav, you are right. This WAS a great country, and is still one of the best, but it sure is going down the old toilet fast, cause of our huge miliatry, dictatorship type govt.

I often do not feel like we have any choice about our govt. anymore, and I found out, a lot of other Amercians feel the same way. Like they are being ruled, and dictated to,and told what to do,and it's not their govt., and country anymore. Here in Oregon, we have to organize and fight to keep developers and invaders, rich ones, from coming into our state, and taking it over, and ruining it, like those cheats did in California. I Have friendds there, I went to visit, and CA looks like cemented over freeways, and cars, and that is it.

I read articles, I talked to people, lots of the customers in the "Super",and they all feel the same way. Like it's not their country at all, anymore, it belongs to a bunch of rich people.I agree with them. All the main population are getting a lot poorer, and all the money is away, up top, making a few people wealthy. Everyone in Oregon is desperate, and a lot poorer, and that is saying something, cause this is a poor state at the best times. :(

The economic situation sucks, I'm almost disillusioned to the point of "why bother?". My mother is a Truck driver, last year she made TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS, after taxes, fuel costs, and repairs to her truck, she made about fifteen thousand, my Grandmother has two bachelor's and a master's degree, she makes about fifty-five, my Uncle is an engineer, he lives in a hellhole and can barely support his kids, My aunt is a teacher (One of the most underappreciated jobs in America) and she works about twelve hours a day for crappy pay, where the hell is the justice in that?

This is the best nation that has ever existed, nothing comes close, the world's first democratic federation, with the highest living standards that have ever existed, with liberty and freedom guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution for the people. Overseas wars and healthcare expenses do little to demean the fact that this nation totally rocks.
