I have no idea why that site that explained what the earth's core means did not take. here it is, so you can see what it means.

The earth in total is warming. The article is about a specific area. There is no doubt that the earth is warming. However, that does not mean that certain areas cant be cooling. For example, suppose I buy a refrigerator. That area in my house will get cooler. However, that does not mean that summer is a myth. True, they are confused why that particular area of the world is not warming, however, that is not an argument against global warming.

Currently, the warmest year on record is 2010, which was 0.66°C (1.19°F) above average. Including 2013, 9 of the 10 warmest years in the 134-year period of record have occurred in the 21st century. Only one year during the 20thcentury—1998—was warmer than 2013.

hmm. so... if we're heading for a new ice age, as Humanaut suggests, and at the same time the climate is getting warmer with the majority of the wwamrest years in history falling into the last decade.... do I correctly infer that EVEN THOUGH we're heading for a new ice age, we managed to heat up the planet?
And how is that supposed to calm me down?

Because, we have been told there is a normal, and blamed for breaking it. Climate is measured against the industrial period, including times when industry involved until it joined geology, mules. The rise of CO2 and the resulting heating happened evenly over the last 120 years, where industrial production of CO2 did not get going until after WWII. The second phase produced many times more CO2, but the warming curve continued from 120 years ago.

CO2 mostly came from the plow, which destroyed the Carbon Sink. For millions of years, Carbon left the air through land plants, which captured it, died, fed soil bacteria, fungi, worms, all Carbon Based Life, which held it until it became geology, Carbonates. Industrial farming, with mules, and running cattle, destroyed the Carbon Sink. Farming, livestock, logging, have released Carbon, by taking the food from the soil, and blocked it's return, by harvesting everything.

Reducing output does nothing if it has no place to go. Studies show that an increase of 1% organic matter in the soil will reduce CO2 by 50 ppm. 2% would put us back to 1800, when CO2 was 300 ppm.

If it was just oil and coal, there would be a post war spike.

Ice Ages are caused by a warm period that loads the air with water vapor, where any cooling, a volcano, meteor, causes it to all be dumped, as floods or snow. That is the danger of any cooling showing now. We ride the tiger.

Only dirt can remove the carbon from the air. To do it it needs to grow plants that die. We must change our ways. A Carbon Tax would not restore the Carbon Cycle. Only dirt can reduce the CO2.

The globe has been cooling since 1998 according to satellite data, and if the trend (red line added by me) continues at its current pace the globe will be completely covered with ice by the end of the century.

you draw a line from one extreme, or may I say: outlier to another and conclude that the earth is cooling?
Are you aware that, if you choose this arbitrary method, the only way you can NOT reach this conclusion was if ALL future years were warmer than the first one you chose... And that each year had to be warmer than the one before...
Do not look at extremes, look at averages.
Smoking takes off 14 years of your life (average)- that doesn't mean that an individual smoker can't get to the age of 95 and die from falling down the stairs. It's just not likely.
Statistics is a counterintuitive subject, and that's heating part of the debate.
Which raises the question: Is debate-warming real and caused by lacking knowledge of manmade statistics?

Your nonsense site thinks more snow means no global warming. Actually, the increased snowfall is evidence of global warming. Basically, the great lakes are warmer and so more water is in the air, more water in the air means more precipitation.

No global warming for the last 18 years? I guess NOAA and EVERY scientific organization in the world is falsifying data. Not like your honest portrayal of the evidence!

That top post referenced an example of Humanaut falsifying data. It was from page 12 of “Still Confused About Climate Change”

The satellite data is from RSS. It's real. No conspiracy. Global cooling is here, now.

I'm strongly in favor of Global Warming.
