Irrefutable proof! Let's see Trump try to weasel out of this one!

I know! Though I probably should have made it clear for some that it's not real.

It doesn't actually matter what you say to a lot of people on here, you could show Clinton eating kittens and people would say Putin had her at gun point and we just couldn't see him in the video. I've repeated extensively the sickening crimes of Clinton. Her mass murdering rampage of people across the world, corruption, laughing about killing people and child rapists getting off the hook. It just doesn't matter, some people simply do not care about this because the media hasn't fed it to them. All they can do is repeat the nonsense the lying media is pouring out about Russia. No one ever learns. The same media that said Saddam's soldiers were dragging babies out of incubators and leaving them to die on the floor and the same media that said Saddam could blow us all up in 45 minutes, had weapons of mass destruction and was connected to 9/11 via anthrax. I'm glad that some people on here are awake though.

Clinton didn't kill anyone by herself. Fun fact- it takes many people to approve wars and so on. There's worse offenders out there- pick a past president or a long running house or senate member. They are just as guilty of doing a vote as she is, if not more (she's been in D.C a while, but others have had much more time there voting for wars and troops to be sent overseas).

Trump has ties to Russia, even if people refuse to believe so. Trump's cabinet members are part of the "swamp" he claimed he was going to drain- even if people refuse to believe so. I could go on and on- but what I say is either ignored or called a lie. Stop ignoring the facts just to bash Clinton more.

To be honest I'm suprised alot of trump supporters are opposed to the investigation. Are not many of you supportive of democracy? Surely the idea of someone interfering with democracy should anger you. If they did hack the they took away what is most important to Americans, freedom of choice.

Also if you are confident in Trump then you have nothing to fear

(I am someone who does not support either parties)

The problem here is that everything is so tied up in partisanship that it feels less like this is about defending democracy and more about coming up with excuses for why Hillary Clinton lost and/or overturning the results of the election. Even if the Russians were 100% behind the leaks, that doesn't change the fact that no one has challenged their accuracy, so we're essentially talking about selective journalism here, not hacking the voting machines type interference.

There isn't anything to investigate, this is the same information the FBI got who said there was no tie between Trump and Russia. The FBI deals was dealing legal certainties, not baseless speculation or innuendo like the CIA who all the sudden are the most trusted institution in the country to Democrats apparently? Give me a break! Lets see the CIA come out and make these allegations and show the actual evidence they have to back it up, I make this challenge because I don't believe there is any and these people are exactly the problem in this country. These are the people the lied us into Iraq, think about how 'intelligence' acted back then and tell me how trustworthy they are.

They can't retroactively trace who took what years ago, the people that did these hacks(if they even are hacks considered most of the information given is actually leaks from the inside) were smart enough to cover their tracks which really is not that hard to do. Wikileaks who has never lied said that it wasn't the Russians who gave them the DNC leaks and they seemed they make the strong implication that murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich was a source of theirs. Investigate that, who murdered Seth Rich and why? The likely truth with most of these documents is that multiple entities had accessed them as most were totally insecure, Hillary Clinton was not held responsible for her mishandling of classified materials. You guys worry about potential blackmail and these entities had access to everything, the Democrats and Hillary Clinton put national security at risk by there at best gross negligence.

Everyone that wants peace should welcome this new Trump international order, they should not buy into the warmongering against Russia. ISIS can be defeated, the first step is not actually being on the same as them. Obama has been a disaster as far as foreign policy goes, him and Dubya really share a legacy together and it's time for a change. The CIA is the biggest swamp there is and it needs drained like all the rest, the establishment forces seem determined not to go peacefully.

Even before the Trump/Putin bromance, I've noticed how American conservatives were in love with the Russian strongman. That religious fake, Mike Hucksterby, had sang Putin's praises while demeaning Obama in comparison... to a cheering crowd of social conservatives. And this wasn't an isolated case. More recently, Trump supporters have been calling Putin the better leader in comparison to their own President, Obama. What is it with the American right loving a neo-fascist strongman?

What more? What has he done so far other than star in The Apprentice? Up to a few weeks ago he was just a private citizen. He doesn't have any history of political wrongdoing.

No, this doesn't deserve consideration until 1 single shred of evidence is produced. Appealing to the authority of the CIA and cable news is what is a fallacy, show the proof if there is any. The collective butthurt is grasping at any desperate thing they can think of, the recounts didn't work so now they move on to this nonsense. The CIA has a lot of swamp to the be drained, 'the intelligence community' is exactly the problem with this country and are the reason we went into Iraq and it is the reason we've been working ISIS for years now. These people have spied on congress, they are the people that were caught red handed smuggling cocaine into the United States, they've overthrown government, and you trust these people? You've been duped, the foreign policy 'establishment' aka the CIA is serious need of some spring cleaning.

Name even one specific action that is being alleged, please do since you apparently yourself so smart now.

It was a secret briefing Jacoby, do I need to explain what that means since you and so many others including myself are upset with Clintons letting sensitive information get hacked. We're obviously not going to know the full details till the senate investigation is complete.

It was in the Brexit thread obviously , but I'm not going to cross thread quote stuff as that's against the rules. Also reported for the personal attack.

I'm definitely glad that Obama is going to launch a full scale investigation into this. I'm already amused at the idea of what the conclusions are likely to be.

This situation reminds me somewhat of intelligence investigations regarding Iraq having weapons of mass destruction.

My most simplistic analysis is that the righties like Putin because the lefties hate Putin and vice versa. Which seems to be pretty much the case regarding many issues.

Now I don't know all that much about Putin, so what I'm going to do is my usual Snopes style investigation into the man. And also the longstanding bromance between the president of a powerful nation and a foreign hotel developer/TV celebrity.

That's because people like KellyAnne Conway keep trying to turn the story back to Clinton. The story is not Clinton, the problem is that a foreign government (Russia) seems to be running America now.

Obviously? I don't keep you on my mind believe it or not and trying to follow me around from thread to thread is a personal attack from you against me, not sure what you think you're reporting. Hopefully the mods take heed of your trouble making, I am not a topic for discussion.

The conservative establishment is anything but pro Putin.

VP elect Pense hates Putin, and previous GOP nominee Romney always considered Russia our biggest threat. IF you're GOP you're supposed to hate Putin. Thats the party line. The Trump administration is definitely NOT to be thought of as being the same thing as the GOP.

However there is a grassroots faction the American religious right that DOES love Putin, and Russia, and IS very compatible with Trump on that issue.

Parts of the American religious right view Russia as a bulwark against Islam. In the view of some of the religious right its time to forget about the vestiges of the old Cold War because the Russians are no longer atheistic Communists, and its now time to go back even further in time to the age of the Crusades when Christian civilization was fighting off islam. Russia is the eastern outpost of White European Christian civilization. So we need to be their allies in this renewed clash of civilizations- in their view. So yes there IS a splinter of the far right that loves Putin as much as Trump does.

I never thought of it that way, but it makes total sense. Christianity vs Islam at the end with of times, with the Jews stirring the pot.
