And Republicans aren't guilty of the same sort of hyperbole, but in regard to all "illegal" Mexican immigrants being rapists and drug smugglers, or how gay marriage is going to lead to more pedophilia, or how frightened Muslim refugees are all potential terrorists?


That sounds like a hysteria strawman set up by the left.

They just don't want foreigners constantly pouring into their country. No one else does either. Try immigrating to Canada. And I think the concern is the left being so anxious to take things from one level to the next ie LGBTQQIAAP and 70 genders to date. All aboard the acceptance tollerence bandwagon Who's next to be added onto the list of passengers?


Regulating immigration is one thing, while demonizing those immigrants is quite another. And those that seem to be demonized the most by the right are brown people. I've never heard a liberal complain about the problem of the "browning of America."


Illeagal immigrants. The illegal part seems to always get left out. And again, Canada. They don't want any immigrants, period. Being white doesn't get you in. America is simply becoming like Canada. Ellis Island is closed. The only ones I hear talking about brown people and browning, is the left. Another propaganda strawman it seems.

Canada has much stricter immigration laws than America. That doesn't make Canada bad, it makes Canada smart.

Untrue; Trump wants to limit legal immigration as well. And while the racial element of those limitations isn't directly spelled out, it's clear that the sort of immigrants he wants to welcome are from the industrialized west, not the third world made up of brown and black people.
Besides, the term "illegal immigrant" is often code used by the right for Latinos.
And yes, it's the right where concerns about the "browning of America" exists.

Since when? We've got the Olympic Stadium full of living quarters for recent immigrants. These are the ones we didn't invite. Our PM said recently that Canada will welcome immigrants no matter how they arrive, but they will be "processed" like all the others. But in the meantime they get food clothing and shelter.

LOL....Canada wouldn't let me in, unless I got married to a Canadian.

It's a great country, though. I've always enjoyed going there.

Ah! Of course. It's refugees that Canada accepts.
As for marriage, my niece-in-law was married to my nephew 3 years before she moved here. She's Australian and had to go the 'landed immigrant' route.

Well I think it was the illegal immigrant criminals he was demonizing. However like I said, limiting immigration would just make us more like other countries like Canada who have had limited immigration for a long time. Most of our illegal immigrants are from central and south America. If we had zillions of people pouring in illegally from the Balkans, I doubt their skin color would make a difference. But the left is determined to portray republicans and conservatives as a whole as nazis and that's what it really comes down to. Again "browning of America" is a term I have only seen the left use. It seems to me they come up with stuff and then pin it onto their opposition. Political strawmen for them to knock down.

In fact, many conservatives have the absurd idea that whites are the most discriminated against group.
Sure, illegal immigrants are breaking the law, but most of them are hardly the criminal rapists, killers, or drug dealers. Rather, they want a better life for themselves and their children.

I know at one time there were boatloads of them arriving here and that they were utterly despised despite being white. The idea that whites always accept whites and only reject "brown people" is not something that's supported by history.

In the UK Polish people are subject to this form of Xenophobia as well. There are many examples of white against white. Even white against white of the same country and language. The English against the Scottish for example. The idea that whites love whites is nonsense. As far a hate goes, the white left just channels thier hatred towards right wing nutjobs and their apologists. Same level of vitrolic hatred and also yet another example of whites who hate whites.

It's not used by liberals per se, but it sure is repeated by them. It's one of those phrases I never come across anyone else saying except for liberals saying that it's said by others. You say no one is taking notice of illegal Irish immigrants, but I'm seeing a plethora of news stories about it. What more notice is there supposed to be, Trump saying he's going to build a wall around Ireland? Illegal immigration from Central and South America has been a chronic problem for decades. Maybe not in Spokane. But you sure notice it in S. Nevada and S. California. Once peaceful charming little neghborhoods have become dangerous crime infested barrios. Keep in mind a chunk of my family are Spanish speaking "brown people" who agree completely with that assessment.

That's why I only come across the phrase from liberals. A few other phrases as well.
