(even worse, he apparently told Ms Stormy that she "reminded him of his daughter Ivanka"). That's not hard to believe, given his sexualised statements about Ivanka in the past. It's an icky record.

I also read this and it's concerning given his past friendship with notorious paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Trump is a like a factory that has an endless supply of canned worms

It would be surprising to me if Melania was not severely affected by it. Her arrival alone at the State of the Union address may well have been a calculated signal, it seems highly unusual behaviour. It may signal (and be intended to signal) her new distancing of herself from him. She may not be able to change her role but she can change how she performs it, and she strikes me as a woman who has the strength to do that..

All the signs indicate (from the time she slapped his hand) that she has been annoyed at her husband and any normal married woman would also feel humiliated if put in position of a FLOTUS watching her husband grab p****

She seems like a very caring, concerned, attentive, loving Mom. I hope the best for her and her son. The day the entity known as the president, gets thrown out of office, cannot come soon enough.

Didn't you refer to her as a gold digging slut? Would a gold digging slut have any particular standards or concerns regarding this?

So what's the issue here? He cheated on a gold digger? Cheating is unpresidential? It's just simply titlating to gossip about?

Can't really blame her...I mean on one hand she did marry him, on the other hand people can regret choices they've made. I wont say she is some great person but its not impossible that she disapproves of some of his behavior or is coming to realize what a scum-bag he is, and thus is distancing herself simply due to that....rather than it being some kind of scheme for anything.

I wonder if she feels the same as Elanor Roosevelt felt when she found out about FDR's longstanding affair with a woman named Sarah.

Isn't marriage a sacred institution?

That depends on the circumstances. How sacred are the drive thru weddings in Las Vegas? How sacred is marrying for cash?

And again, what's the issue. I know of at least two unfaithful husband presidets and even the names of the women they were unfaithful with. A third maybe if the thing with JFK and Marlin Monroe is true. All of them democrat presidents as well fwiw.

If I recall republicans were hounding, frothing at the mouth, over Clinton's one dalliance with Monica Lewinsky, seem awfully quiet over Trump's p**** grabbing...

Not a 14 wrongs make a right thing, but according to this, 14 presidents have been unfaithful including Clinton, Washington, Arthur, Roosevelt, Kennedy, Jefferson, Jackson, Lincoln, Cleveland, Wilson, Harding, Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson and Bush.

No defending president on this intended, just wondering what's the conclusion?

Okay so the republicans were vocal about Clinton, which would lead to the conclusion democrats were not. Now it's the oppoisite. So what conclusion is to be drawn from that?

I mean is there any legitimate issue or is this just about carping and gossiping?

The conclusion is that Trump disgusts people WAY MORE than any other potus in every way imaginable, so of course the reaction to all of this is amplified. He's a guy people love to hate & he deserves every bit of hate he gets.

So really all these threads are trump is horrible awful et al, the worst president, needs to be removed.

Do there really need to be so many threads and waste of bandwidth from Australians and Canadians saying the same thing over and over again?

Why should they be removed? Patriotic censorship?

F that. The man is despicable & I applaud the GLOBAL response of outrage & resistance to him and almost everything he says or does.

As long as he's still making daily absurd headlines he will be discussed & debated. If you don't want to participate in any thread about him, don't. But it doesn't mean others shouldn't express their opinions nor debate the guy.

I didn't say they should be removed. I said there's been lots of threads from Australians and Canadians that are all basically saying the same thing about the potus over and over again.
