Its a good idea to wean ourselves off wood pulp in the long run. Those paper mills are notorious for releasing Dioxin and clear cuts.
I lived in SoArk for a time and IP and Weyerhaeuser really did some damage.

There has always been a dependency problem between the US and the rest of the world that goes both ways.

Lol

trump and his buddies didn’t view it as a “dependency problem,” as they outsourced American manufacturing jobs and exploited cheap labour around the world.

Now it’s a problem because it serves him politically to trash other countries.

There is a bit of that going around.

Yeah, 4 letter word is saying hey advocate stopping supplying Canadian doctors with masks and I strongly disagree with their position. Pretty simple. No need to go ‘round in circles about it.

And that’s why Canada continues to trade with Asian countries more and more, and Mexico with South American countries, because thanks to the trump administration the USA is no longer a dependable trading partner.

Nobody said anything about depriving Canadian doctors of PPE.

If there was an impending need there, we would be first in line to deliver them.

Yes, Trump is an isolationist...and a jerk, etc...but if there was an impending need in Canada, even he would approve exporting some to Canada.

Didn't someone say, in this thread, that you said Canada had enough medical supplies to cope with the situation?
Didn't you previously boast somewhere how Canada was doing so much better against the coronavirus than America?
Isn't America suffering much worse than the Can-a-dians?

I thought "that was the gist of it".
Goldfish has a history of putting a negative spin on anything/k American.
And *that*, unfortunately, is eating into his credibility.

I'll believe THAT when I see it happen, and even then I would check the facts.

That was happening long before Trump.Even under Democrats.
The Levi’s plant near here went to Mexico when Clinton was the president.

Time, and circumstance, will tell.
Until it happens or doesn't happen, all is speculation.

Uh, that’s literally what this entire thread is about.

Miss lizard keeps posting over and over that masks shouldn’t be sent or Canada while US doctors need masks and I keep saying All doctors in all countries should have the masks they need.

And your buddy trump literally asked 3M to stop shipping masks to Canada and Latin America, soooo.. F that orange F. :)
