Cancel culture or hate isn't about right or left or being a troll or losing a argument. Of all things it isn't funny. Some people are simply lost in their hate. Maybe the best word for this evil is intolerance.


Cancel culture hasn't caused any posters to leave here because cancel culture is just a right wing meme. We've certainly had posters leave because they got tired of losing arguments and because intolerance was shown to their trollish methods of arguing.

If you really believe posters rage-quitting is a result of evil and hate you really have low stakes for how you define those terms.


That's about as fine an example of gaslighting as you could get.


So who's quit because of cancel culture? If it's happened there must be examples. If there are no examples people should stop insisting it's happened.

If it is all the truth, then you may be praise or even rewarded.  If it is all a lie, then you may only be banned.

What I am talking about is the situation that occurred over a year ago when the site owner came in and blew up the progress that was being made in a the thread in WP forum to ease tensions on this site. Two newly appointed mods resigned in protest, neither of them particularly political at all.

You're pushing a narrative that is false for political expediency. You should be deeply ashamed.
