I would have stood there frozen with the same s**t eating grin Sandmann had. I have done that in awkward situations and been misinterpreted as hostile plenty of times.

That’s not true, some private schools are very liberal.Not the parochial ones , but others make sure the kids get a good dose of the Arts.

Merge in the crowd.I also smile when I’m nervous, I get that.But I don’t think l he is on the spectrum.
The kids in the background didn’t look nervous, looked like they were enjoying the show.

Maybe the mainstream news organizations might have avoided it, and that would not have not mattered much. It still would have been captured on video and gone viral and Sandmann would have gotten it from both sides. The wokes would have interpreted it a racist because that is what they do. Tucker Carlson and the like would have used the footage as an example of how white males have been emasculated by the wokes.
