I would consider it a shame he's been named. They've named him, against normal procedure, because there's a cohort of people both online and offline who can't shut up and let the police get on with their jobs. They have to speculate and hi-jack these things to push their own prejudiced agendas and start trouble.

That's a shame, imo. A shame on this country.

I wasn't referring to the ongoing MH care survivours will need, although that's substantial too.

I've been around long enough to know that I'm in a vanishingly small minority here but I can't help also having empathy for this very young guy who is clearly deeply mentally disturbed and has just destroyed his own life as well as the lives of many others.

Something happened in his brain that said this was the right thing to do, whether that was some sort of biological malfunction or a product of environmental factors. To me that's just another tragic part of this entire miserable business.

I'm just glad that the majority of people understand that what has happened with the riots and the speculation is wrong

I mean (and I know I should put this thought somewhere else) I wonder how many white British people are locked up in foreign prisons for murdering people/children in countries where they have migrated to

It seems to me that it's one story for white people to do it in other countries but it's a different story when a brown person does it in England

I'm actually glad none of my DNA came back as English.

I just don't think anyones name should be protected when this sort of thing has happened no matter what the circumstances and believe me I do have empathy for people who snap. I've snapped myself and have been very close to doing regrettable things

I felt the same about Brianna Ghai if you remember. For me I just feel as though justice isn't done if they're not named. Like part of them is getting away with it
