I wouldn't say his music is controversial...just his personal life. His music is bubble gum pop and he came up with some trendy dance moves. Starting Something was okay.

Oh yeah, the music is just all about the feel good factor. Na, he took pop to another level. And plus, Off The all was more like a soul album.

Eww, Chris Martin dances like a pleb. I like Jagger dancing and Axl Rose :P

Agree! I love Axl's snake dance! "Where have you gone??? Where have you gone???"

Mellenkamp's pretty good, too. And I LOVE Springsteen when he's on fire. Except in that "gay" "Born in the USA" video.

I was in chills watching him at the Superbowl - BEST SUPERBOWL HALF-TIME EVER!! !

I also love Prince! OMG!! ! It was an out-of-body experience when he played the superbowl a few years ago in Miami - and it was raining like a motherf*****. I could have died when he played Foo's "Best of You".

According to urban legend, Dave Grohl was watching it with his buds and he was in the kitchen or bathroom when that song came on. His friends yelled for him to come watch. "Dude! They're playing your song!" Dave was very impressed and flattered. Ironically, they had asked to play one of his songs at a concert and he shot them down. So, in some twisted way - it was like an olive branch - even though Foo didn't give permission and didn't care. When you are a creative genius like Prince you can treat people like that.

Too bad Prince is such an a-hole - I won't even attempt to find it on youtube. He has teams of people who watch out for unauthorized use.

The born in the USA song is what puts me off of Springsteen. Prince is deluded. And Foo Fighters are past it.

Working on a comeback....

OK - I'll give you Springsteen. I would never call myself a Springsteen fan, and in some circles I wouldn't even admit I like (some of) his stuff but think he's an awesome performer. :salut:

Prince - deluded? DUH! Your point?

Foo Fighters - You're just lucky I'm not there in person!
:eye: :rambo: :wall:   :x :skull:  :eye:

Well I have Springsteen's greatest hits, and the songs sound ok, but its just that USA song.

Ahaha, well after the way you slated Jacko, you'd get as good as you give

Foo Fighters first album was good. I just find them bland now though. I much prefer Dave's old band

I got tired of Springsteen about 5 minutes after he came out. Like Jackson, I tend to get a little perturbed when everyone likes someone, and is a fanatic about it...;) I remember being surprised when I found out Townshend was gay...but that's my typical AS self...;)
