Like I said before, he F’d around WAY too hard & now he’s about to find out.

This article sums things up nicely:

https://www.salon.com/2022/09/03/and-co ... is-coming/

It's all been sequels of six years of investigations and hearings.

Fake news!

No sequels. The former orange guy committed many, MANY, crimes - earlier in life and business as well as in office of the presidency - and each new investigation/hearing is exactly that, not a sequel related to any prior wrongdoing.

It’s amazing how you keep bending over backwards to suggest that his most recent crimes are “nothing burgers,” considering what he’s being accused of. I still say there’s zero chance he skates without indictments (multiple) because of the precedent it would set about a potus being above the law.. that a crime spree against the United States’ federal government shouldn’t have consequences. It’s amazing to me that you seem to believe that leading an insurrection, attempting a coup, and stealing classified/other documents are all “nothing burgers,” that trump won’t face consequences for.

The mental gymnastics from a couple of posters here reminds me of a former member of WP who was a staunch defender of the Trumpists which makes Simone Biles look like an amateur

Fact: Six years of investigations and hearings have gone nowhere. Fact: Everything being said about the current situation has been said repeatedly for six consecutive years. So far there's no indication that the current situation isn't anything more than a continuation of more of the same. That will likely grind to a halt in 2024 if he doesn't become potus again, or continue throughout 2028 if he does. Unless that is, the democrats are so soundly defeated in the mid-terms, they won't be around to continue it past 2022.

1. You’ve stated that you haven’t watched the J6 Hearings.. so you’re choosing to remain ignorant about where recent investigations have gone - which is FAR from nowhere.

2. Are you on some sort of time perception altering drugs? The FBI just raided mar-a-lago a few weeks ago.. it hasn’t been 6 years let alone 6 weeks.

They'll have gone somewhere when there's an indictment.

No, that's what you're into according to posts you've made.

Based on a six year track record that's not going to lead to an indictment either.

I understand the emotions are high but insinuating the other person being on drugs or unable to comprehend reading does cross the boundary of personal attack.
If you believe the other person does not understand you, focus on explaining the part you believe they misinterpret.

I feel like the phrase "living rent free in your head" is inadequate here, it's like people are paying Trump to live in their minds.

Nah, we're just waiting for the punchline to this long running joke so his chapter in American politics & the news cycle can all come to a close. Not gonna watch the slow moving train wreck of a windup for ~6 years and then tune out right before the punchline! I'm in for the lolz.

Not fact.

Mueller investigation: 37 indictments, 8 (to date) guilty pleas and/or convictions

Also gained: extensive information on how the Russian propaganda machine works to influence elections.

The scope didn't allow them to go after Trump specifically.

There is more, a Republican Senate Committee report that was issued quietly, planned criminal referrals by the Jan 6th committee, etc, none of which I have the stats on right now, but I don't need them to discount the concept of "nowhere."

That isn't nowhere. If the results were worth the time and cost is up for debate, but it isn't nowhere and it comes across as blindly partisan when people keep saying it is.

I recognize the irony in that he wouldn't have it any other way. OK, he'd prefer it was all adoration, but as long as his name is at the tip of everyone's tongues, it suits his purposes.

I don't get it, I have politicians I quite literally want dead that I'm more dispassionate about than middle aged liberals are about Trump, it's weird.

You seem to have an inability to perceive trump's threat to American democracy.
