You would think so but it could be a work in progress that accidentally got out.

On Israeli news. There are 200 members of parliament, something like that?

I think world governments are downsizing how dangerous the virus is, to avoid chaos and panic.

The 2% mortality rate is a farce (20% of infected are severe cases and the recovery rate is sooo slow); when numbers reach a certain threshold there won't be enough space for everyone to be hospitalized; and so more people will die.

I heard there's about 20 members infected, but not sure if they ALL died.

I guess the coronavirus is affecting superheroes. One of the characters who played in Captain America: The Winter Soldier was Sebastian Stan who played the character Bucky Barnes. Apparently Sebastian is taking the coronavirus very seriously. The Marvel star, 37, was aboard a Delta flight to Europe when he shared a hilarious selfie showing all the preventative measures he took for the overseas trip.

The actor was seated on a plane wearing a face mask covering his mouth and nose, an eye mask and a hooded sweatshirt. For extra defense, the actor donned black gloves and had a pillow across his chest and a white blanket wrapped around his shoulders.

As a result, social media quickly tagged him with a new name "Corona Bucky".

The coronavirus has also affected another movie franchise. Mission Impossible VII stops production due to coronavirus outbreak. A three-week shoot was set to take place in Venice, Italy, but the country has had a recent surge of coronavirus cases. Tom Cruise, who reportedly had not yet landed in Italy, again stars in the franchise as IMF agent, Ethan Hunt.

7. Saunas Can Help Fight Illness
German sauna medical research shows that saunas were able to significantly reduce the incidences of colds and influenza amongst participants. As the body is exposed to the heat of a sauna and steam (in the case of traditional saunas), it produces white blood cells more rapidly, which in turn helps to fight illnesses and helps to kill viruses. In addition, saunas can relieve the uncomfortable symptoms of sinus congestion from colds or allergies - especially when used with steam (tip: add eucalyptus to the water for added benefit and overall enjoyment). The steam vapor action helps to clear up unwanted congestion and is a wonderful aspect of the Finnish sauna experience.

The coronavirus is just one form of the influenza (the common flu). The name “influenza” originated in 15th century Italy, from an epidemic attributed to “influence of the stars.” The first pandemic, or worldwide epidemic, that clearly fits the description of influenza was in 1580. This disease has probably been around for a very long time, perhaps hundreds of thousands of years IMHO. Societies have developed means of remediating the severity of the flu throughout many generations. For example, saunas. If you take away the saunas there may be an uptick in the number of flu cases in the Scandinavian countries. The Chinese dealt with it by bundling up in the winter with many layers of clothing. That was how societies found a way of surviving. This is a type of tradition. But if you change the tradition, you also change the outcome.

Can't the virus be transmitted via the sauna droplets/mist.

May be fake news coming out of Iran by the opposition. I did see the health minister collapse on stage from Corona on the news, they have had many fatalities.

Yes, I have seen the people collapsing in the street video; It doesn't look like a "just another flu" to me.

To be honest, we have no fatalities, we have 15 actively infected who were in contact with thousands of people, hence the quarantine. It's just a matter of time till it's out of control. Usually only people with compromised immunity or chronic illness are at high risk. This is what we are being told here. We have an excellent health service here. People don't always obey home quarantine, some guy who came back from North Italy ignored the imposed quarantine and infected 3 people and
Exposed thousands. I don't think it's realistic to think it is containable, there are however less fatalities than from flu, recovery rate is high. There is speculation that it remains dormant in the body after recovery like Herpes, and can flare up again,
one woman has had it twice.

Once a week I normally take a trip into town and go to the YMCA for exercise. Generally I swim a mile and then soak in the hot tub for a half hour. So the thought crossed my mind when I was swimming that I might have to forgo this routine because of the coronavirus. I gave it some thought. The cause of the high infection rates for this virus is related to low humidity levels. Swimming in a pool I am surround by water and the water is chlorinated. Chlorine is a disinfectant and kills viruses. I decided that I was probably in one of the safest places on earth for this threat.

As far as the sauna is concerned the pluses in my opinion far outweigh any minuses. Especially so if they are adding eucalyptus to the water as it is heated to make steam, as the referenced article discussed. This is because eucalyptus oil vapor appears to act as a decongestant when inhaled. It is a popular home remedy for colds and bronchitis. It may act as an expectorant for loosening phlegm and easing congestion. A number of cough medications include eucalyptus oil, including Vicks VapoRub.

Yes. I use Eucalyptus oil in hot water and inhale the steam. Tea tree oil is a great disinfectant also.

Yep, I am also a swimmer. Any regular swimmer can tell people that flu virus doesn't propagate through pool water. Being in pool water is probably the safest place to avoid coronavirus.

I don't use sauna, though.

Yep, it also provides protein. That is, if you don't mind the cyanide content.

We are heading back to the Jurassic Era level of CO2 and temperature. So, everything is getting bigger and nastier.

This is a good move to slow further spread. It may not be possible to prevent widespread infection, but the more you can slow it down, the more time there is for vaccine development, training of health workers and the general public, and improvements in care capacity.

Italy shutters all schools, universities as COVID-19 death toll reaches 107

March 4 (UPI) -- Italian education officials closed all schools and universities Wednesday in reaction to a coronavirus outbreak that has killed 107 people in the country.

Education Minister Lucia Azzolina made the announcement with Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte during a news conference at Palazzo Chigi, Conte's residence in Rome.

"It wasn't a simple decision for the government, we waited for the opinion of the scientific-technical committee and we decided to suspend teaching activities from tomorrow till March 15," Azzolina said.

"It is a decision of impact, I hope the pupils will return to school as soon as possible."
