Americans, how do you feel about being an American?
Ashamed, due to the military incursions in the mideast. 29%  29%  [ 27 ]

For Whom?
For the rich I'm sure this is a wonderful place, "Land of the free, home of the liberal tax laws". For those who can afford to buy themselves a senator or two, I'm sure the ol' US of A is just peachy.
For the rest of us however, who have to surender 30%- 40% of our income to a bloated government, that them promptly throws it at those same obscenely wealthy 1%, we aren't all that thrilled by our government at work.

Listen to the media. With other than the possible exception of Fox, the media is anti-American. The longer you listen to it, the less American you will become.

Your best bet is to read and study the Constitution of the United States, as that is the basis of our whole way of life.

Most of the world is Socialist. That is as anti-American as you can get.

They are coming for us. Remember 9-11?

That is one manifestation.

We need to defend ourselves, and our way of life.

Thank God Daily for the people who put their lives on the line,

to allow the media, to spout anti-American spin on a regular basis.

The best defense? A good offense, and that is what we are doing.

The often used tactic of responding to an argument by quoting from George Orwell's dystopia novel 1984 as to imply to person you are arguing, is fact, some sort stooge, is a poor method of debate.

A similar manner of debate would be, while listening to someone at a dinner make a criticism of George Bush, stick my fingers in my ears and yell out the words, "COMMUNIST, COMMUNIST, COMMUNIST!"

The reason it is similar is because like the former it makes no attempt to get to the base of EvilTeach's arguments.

For the record, EvilTech is correct in that Orwell himself, who was a socialist, was opposed to such simplifications and abuse of language.
