What's shocking is that people keep conflating ILLEGAL immigrants with LEGAL residents. If you've got a green card and / or a visa, or whatever, you're good-to-go. If, however, the only way your boat made it to Florida, was because you had the sense to bring buckets, to bail-out the boat when it took-on water, then you need to go back, HOME!!

If part of the reason you were unable to obtain work, was because so many of these ILLEGAL people were taking the jobs, wouldn't you think that getting rid of them, was a good idea? And, please don't say that if they're illegal, they wouldn't be able to get a "proper" job, cuz there's always somebody, somewhere, willing to SELL you fake paperwork----all you have to do, is hop a bus, downtown; I even saw an ad on Craig's List, recently.
I know but deporting them is just terrible.

One thing people fail to realize is that Ronald Reagan, that arch-conservative, came up with a comprehensive illegal immigrant amnesty solution in 1986. Millions of "illegals" were granted green cards through this measure.

Either they are "legal" or "illegal" it's still deporting millions of peoples and potentially separating millions of children from their parents. From what I know you're rather sensitive (I may be wrong) and I don't get how you can support such things.

Man Campin Cat do you just enjoy the drama here? I am beginning to wonder.

I don't think Androbot is aiming to put down Americans. She has always been fixated on the news. I do wonder why however.

There's no more drama on this thread than the thread you and I participated in, a couple of months, ago----so, you must like drama, as well!!

What I enjoy, is fighting for what I believe is TRUTH (meaning, considering ALL angles of a situation)----and, THAT is fighting-against people who make posts that are driven, IMO, purely by emotion (and, that is made evident, IMO, when they mis-read / mis-represent / whatever their own linked articles).

Yes, I wonder why, as well----cuz, like I said, unless one is a U.S. citizen living here, why be so emotional about what we do, WHATEVER we do. When YOU post about something that's going-on in America, you're much more humble, IMO, in the way you present your OPINION----you don't post like you're trying to tell us what to do, or that you think your opinion is BEST, or whatever; and, THAT is to what I take exception. Like I said, before, I had an opinion about Brexit, but I didn't post it, cuz I don't feel it's any of my business----and, that's the way I feel about non-Americans posting what they think we should do.

Just as long as it's clear what's on topic and what's off topic and what can lead to a person talking more about themselves rather than the actual topic.

Or put another way, when someone makes a snide comment about you being drawn into talking about yourself, and then they go and do the same thing a page later, you gotta point it out and lol - knowwhatimean?

I mean, it's not like you're just making a comment, here-and-there, on other people's threads----there, for awhile, it seemed like every other day, you were STARTING a thread that would, again, passive-aggressively put us down, by putting down our president.

It is your thinking that I am putting you down by putting down your president, not mine. I am putting down Trump for reasons already stated. The link with your country is yours, not mine.

Really? Cuz, by your starting these threads, ALONE (not including when you post in other people's threads), it sure seems like you have an interest in posting everything you can pick-on about our country:

"Alternative Facts and American Carnage"
"Senate Gags Elizabeth Warren"
"Russian Influence on U.S."
"What the F:)k is Going on in America?"

.....and, of course, the one we're on: "What's up with Devin Nunes?". In at least one of 'em, you saw fit (which is beyond my comprehension) to pick-on Director Flynn----and, in PPR, you saw fit to start a thread picking-on Vice President Pence:

"'Lock Him Up!' Pence Used AOL for State Business"

That's not your place to say "Lock him up", because you're not a citizen!!

So, AFAIC, there is enough variance in subject matter in the threads you've started, to say that you are picking-on our country, as-a-whole.

Now you're putting too much emotion into your post / thinking. If you think logically about it, if someone broke into your house, would you be like: "Oh, HI! I'm SOOOO glad you're here!! We were just sitting-down to supper----would you like to join us?"; I don't think you would.

Yes, I'm very sensitive----to the point of almost making someone else's troubles, my own----it was all I could do, not to out-and-out BAWL when they showed that woman in the truck, behind bars, having to leave her kids, behind, because they were deporting her; but, here's the thing..... Quite frankly, when you do the crime, you do the time----and, her "time" (punishment) was having to leave her kids, here, because she CHOSE to come into this country, ILLEGALLY. I mean, the whole thing about doing something illegally, is that it's a roll-of-the-dice----sometimes you win, sometimes you lose----and, IMO, it's ludicrous to blame someone else when you lose.

Please stop, Androbot has not called anyone stupid or insulted them from what I see. Talking about America is just done when someone who wants to express themselves. Listen to what she says she does not hate the country or view them as less.

What does this comment have to do with all the text you quoted----she wasn't even in that part of the conversation.

I will NEVER stop fighting for my country!! I did it literally, when I served in the military----and, I will continue to defend her, here.

I don't mean to be rude----but, you know what they say..... If you can't stand the heat, get outta the kitchen.

I think you get quite a kick out of this.

Its great that you served your country but Androbot was raising legitimate issues about your country why should they be silenced?
