Yeah, but that's not the point. Trump admitted in his NBC interview that he expected the investigation would be expedited by Comey's removal. Trump has said he thinks the investigation is "fake." He removed Comey because Comey was taking the investigation seriously. He is exercising influence of the investigation. Some democrats are suggesting that this is impeachable.

Vanity Fair: Did Trump Just Write His Own Articles of Impeachment? The president reportedly demanded James Comey’s loyalty. Now, after firing him, Trump is trying to intimidate him into silence.

Is that what I said? People that are 'resisting' outside the chain of command and breaking the law to undermine the lawful authority of the president and our democratically elected government are traitors. Deep state = traitors.

Comey was using a bogus Russia investigation to leverage him into not reopening the Clinton case which was purposely bungled. Comey has ties to the Clinton's and was complicit with the Obama administrations illegal surveillance scheme that they used against their opponents, covering their asses.

At a practical level it IS NOT impeachable unless the dems control congress, or the GOP abandons Trump. Neither is likely/possible in the next two years.

President has full authority to fire the director of the FBI whenever for whatever any time he wants. These Russia fantasies are the epitome of stupid and a pathetic excuse from a bunch of people who cannot accept losing.

that's not dissent

You guys scream traitor when a couple rednecks occupy an empty an empty forest station or protest in tricorne hats but turn the other way at the creation of surveillance state used to spy on domestic political enemies and a deep state that acts outside any legal means of government.

If you want a civil war then keep supporting this because that is where this is heading, you think if they do manage to overthrow Trump that the next president will have any authority? This is the end of the United States, if their is no reciprocation then there is nothing left to do besides kill each other. You'll have to worry about a lot more than a forest station being occupied. Remember what JFK said about democratic revolution, by denying it you're making violent revolution inevitable.

There hasn't been a peaceful transfer of power, this democracy is a joke and facade. Democrat 'resistance' is destroying this country.
