Trump is becoming more and more isolated the longer he's President. He clearly thought that by being President he would get the acceptance by the elite that he has always wanted but never had. Instead, he's showing the world why he will never be accepted by the old money elite.

Trump is a piece of crap President. He wants to be compared to President Reagan, but he really has far more in common with President Carter, especially in his desire to appease North Korea.

Why should we be civil and respectful when a political figure dies?

Because it is the decent thing to do.

We should all try to become the best person that we can be, not selfish, spoiled rotten brats who have no respect for anyone or anything.

Or like not bombing people with depleted uranium and taking the US to war on a pack of lies?

Very likely so.

Especially during the part where everyone was reciting the Apostle's Creed...all except Trump and Melania.

We bombed people with depleted uranium? Why?

Depleted uranium is useful for things like anti-tank weapons because of the density of the depleted uranium. But those aren't bombs.

So in what bombs do we use depleted uranium?

As far as going to war on lies, I assume you are talking about Iraq. If there were lies, they were Iraq's lies (or Saddam's). They could have welcomed inspections to prove that they had no weapons of mass destruction, particularly chemical weapons, but they spent their time trying to make things tough for inspectors. Some people thought they had no weapons of mass destruction and some did. Iraq didn't do much to convince people that there were none.

Because the US doesn't care about International Law and neither did Bush.
They were used in cannons. To destroy enemy soldiers and the civilian population. And he bombed civilian infrastructure, another war crime.

I was taking about the lies before the first Gulf War. As in Bush going round the country saying babies were being pulled out of incubators by Iraqi soldiers and left to die on the cold floor. The original lie came from the girl put up in front of US Congress.

Don't talk such tripe. Saddam did allow them in, the US was always going to attack. The lies came by linking Iraq to Al Qaeda with a fake meeting in Prague between the lead 9/11 hijacker and Iraqi officials and the passing over of anthrax. The lies came about the WMD's that the US knew Iraq never had. If Iraq did have them the US would never have attacked. Also Saddam would have used them for defense.

While Trump in actuality is an atheist, the branch of Christianity he pretends to associate himself with is evangelicalism, which has a weird aversion to creeds of any kind, despite the fact that they adhere to the same central Christian beliefs.

I didn't have time to watch the events in Washington, DC, but the events in Houston and Aggieland were very well done.
