so the republicans blocked obama out of vindictive spite. and the democrats are blocking trump out of vindictive spite. although iirc it was mccain who cast the deciding vote agaist trump out of vindictive spite.

Give the Dems a bill for universal healthcare, and they'll vote for it.
When have the Democrats blocked Trump for any reason? They were the minority party till the last election, so they hardly had the votes to block anything. Maybe it had more to do with the fact that Trump never intended to go through with single payer?
