I saw no evidence that Sanders ever lived his philosophy. Only a small portion of the US society wanted him, it's no surprise he's out of the race.

From what I read he only became a millionaire in the last few years after a best selling book. Why shouldn’t someone his age accumulate that wealth after that many years of work + a best selling book? AFAIK he’s never advocated for staying poor and he’s been super consistent on his political stances over a decades long career.

How long has he been in the Senate? How much do Senators make? They make a lot more than Sanders wants us to survive off of... He's a fraud and he'd be sipping wine as we killed each other over a sausage, when everyone else's money finally ran out. Joe Biden has dementia, he's still less of a threat to the US than Bernie Sanders.

What’s the amount he allegedly wants you to survive off of?

Anything I’ve seen shows him pushing for higher minimum wages and better healthcare benefits. How is that bad?

And I’ve never ever heard him say that all jobs should have the same pa regardless of education or skills required for them or their value to a corporation or society. So why shouldn’t his job pay him more than my job pays me or your job pays you? Especially if he’s done a good job & people approve of his work vs other Senators who seem to only be in their roles for the kickbacks and pensions.

I'm not sure. But anything short of his multiple homes and millions is unacceptable for me. I look to my leaders as examples of what I can become, I don't look to my leaders for permission on how high I can reach. Bernie and every other socialist wants to live like a king and have the rest of society be peasants. That's not appealing. If you like it, you should do it. Just don't wish it on people who don't...

That is preposterous!
Was Stalin rich?
Is Putin rich?
Is Xi Jinping rich?

Erm...

I have faith in the cards. Trump will win again, and nearly bring our country to ruin.

Trump is tough on china.
I don't care who wins the American elections.
I only care that whoever is in power, maintains a tough stance on the ccp.

What's more powerful? An eagle or a fire-breathing dragon?

Maybe. Just the deficit increase from his first term is enough to really mess with things for decades, maybe generations. And I’m not talking about the C-10 bailouts - I mean even before that. But perhaps we should include them.. $1200 for citizens : $16800 in corporate welfare.

If Canada and Australia really cared, those countries would become the world leaders.

If we cared about what?

And we do lead in some things. Canada punches above its weight class in a number of metrics, and has historically done so, too. It’s not as if we just sit idly by as a nation and do nothing. Ditto for Australia and other countries.

I meant becoming the leading countries of the free world since America does such a bad job at it. We obviously need Justin Trudeau as the leader of the free world so he should start assuming the mantle.

Literally any functioning adult would be a better leader of the free world than that waste of air orange guy. Justin Trudeau, Justin Bieber, Crocodile Dundee, you, anyone.

So why isn't Justin Trudeau and Canada taking on the role of being the leader of the free world?

Angela Merkel is doing just fine. 8)

In which alternate universe?

The fishbowl one.

Lol It’s does mess up your vision living in one of those. Not to mention the constant circling around and around.
First time I’ve heard of Merkel being the leader.

She’s been referred to as the leader of the free world a few times over the last couple years. In part because donnie can’t chew gum and walk at the same time, never mind lead his own country or the world, and in part because she has made a couple stern statements and made a couple speeches in recent times that come across as true leadership. I’m sure the press gives her extra attention because she’s female and donnie is a male chauvinist, too. The most recent one was her Coronavirus speech that I shared to this subforum a few days ago. She IS a very well spoken leader compared to the orange oaf that’s allegedly the leader of the free world - but couldn’t lead himself out of a paper bag.

She’s is better than Cheeto Satan as a human being.
On an unrelated side note she’s terrified of dogs.Putin’s black lab Koni totally unnerved her.You could see that Putin got a big kick out of it.
I suspect the great Cheeto is also afraid of dogs.Never seen a pic of him loving on one.
I bet they try to attack him.Sort of like the scene from The Omen when the monkeys pile on the car.

Not orange enough, mate.

I think you should be looking at this guy:
Quote:
William III (Dutch: Willem; 4 November 1650 – 8 March 1702),[2] also widely known as William of Orange, was sovereign Prince of Orange from birth, Stadtholder of Holland, Zeeland, Utrecht, Guelders and Overijssel in the Dutch Republic from the 1670s and King of England, Ireland and Scotland from 1689 until his death. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_III_of_England
