DeSantis had some pretty nutty ideas and he actually influences policy, at least in Florida. If that's anything to go by, he'd be much more active than Trump. In that sense I found Trump quite harmless.

I did hear in some video clip that truth social is a clone of some social media template called “mastodon,” and isn’t actually a platform developed by its founders.

Also, apparently they owe $1.6M in unpaid hosting fees and their user/view count keeps plummeting.

So, if Trump skates again, who are we going to blame for the ensuing strokes? I feel like I'm losing brain cells every time I peruse one of these threads already, I can only imagine the meltdowns if he manages to stick the landing yet again.

Prior to 2016, I don't think I truly understood the meaning of the old proverb "keep your powder dry", but boy have the Trump era Democrats driven the meaning home, so many jumped guns (to mix metaphors).

Same reason conservatives like to scare voters by claiming liberals will take away their guns.
