If he skates, his skates were laced by the federalist society. IMO.

"If this was Hillary Clinton, they’d be calling for jail time": Dems blast GOP for Trump defenses
String of GOP lawmakers accused of double standard after defending Trump’s at-home storage of classified docs

Yep, the hypocrisy is obvious. Not entirely shocking, though, considering the trumplestiltskin nut swinging that’s been going on for the past few years with republican politicians daring not say the emperor has no clothes.

Such a joke. If he leaves politics he should really join WWE wrestling (he has the stomach for it  )

trump has already made cameo appearances on wwf/wwe wrestling.

Funniest was reading a story about how some guy involved with the soap opera wrestling organization received a phone call from trump all panicked and concerned that some wrestling personality had died because he thought some skit he’d seen on the tv program was real.

There's only one way to handle someone who took classified documents:

The hypocrisy and inability to see the similarities actually runs both ways. I can see quickly why Trump’s breach is worse; people with opposing politics see the opposite. The starting point both times needs to be that both cases started by breaking the same protocol.

No need for conservatives to claim anything, liberals are quite open about their intentions these days.

I agree with Magz, but either way this misses the point. A lot of women’s rights have suddenly disappeared, and losing rights galvanizes voters.

Magz doesn't know what she's talking about. How do you think I feel when my rights are threatened? Hint; I start loading up magazines, and not the lifestyle kind.

Do you ever stop to think "hmm, Dox is super into guns and lives in the US, maybe he knows more about this than I do?"? I've got a good half dozen guns right now that Joe Biden is attempting to retroactively reclassify in a way that would force me to turn them in, go through an onerous and expensive registration program, or just say "f*ck it" and live with having a federal felony hanging over my head if my paperwork ever gets checked. This has happened before, our ATF is allowed to change their minds and make things retroactively illegal that they previously had said were fine, they're literally knocking on doors right now looking for a particular aftermarket trigger they decided was a machine gun (it isn't), as well as various pieces of threaded tubing they decided were too easy to make into silencers (literally anything that *can* muffle a gunshot is a silencer by their definition). By all means though, lecture me on the laws of my own country having to do with the industry I work in on the subject my degree is in, I'm sure you know better than I do.

It's happening right now, it's just not international news.

Maybe Americans should take advice from countries that have far less of a problem with gun violence than they do ? Just a thought.

I don't know a lot of liberals that think anyone should go in and take everyone's guns away. Most don't want to. Some are gun owners. But there is a sense that it shouldn't be a free for all, either, given the plague of school and mass shootings, and they do want to talk boundaries.

Which is besides my point, so I guess I should have come up with a different analogy.

My whole point was to look at how it feels when rights are threatened. You are actually making that point quite well. I wanted to make that point because we had a poster having difficulty accepting that certain women's and gender issues were suddenly top of the list for liberals.

Do you see what has happened with England, Australia, New Zealand, and now Canada? American gun owners have, not another inch.

This is why you can't have nice things.. like a lack of mass shootings and tons of people that die from gun violence every year.
