I don't know a lot of liberals that think anyone should go in and take everyone's guns away. Most don't want to. Some are gun owners. But there is a sense that it shouldn't be a free for all, either, given the plague of school and mass shootings, and they do want to talk boundaries.

Do you see what has happened with England, Australia, New Zealand, and now Canada? American gun owners have, not another inch.

Shootings declined in all of those countries ? Is that it ?

I live in Canada. We don't have daily mass shootings. I don't live in the other countries listed, though, so can only make an educated guess that they, too, have much lower rates of gun violence than in the USA. Hence my question.

You know what's funny? Not only do I not care what you think as your opinions are worthless, but I really don't even have to argue with you on this, I work in a literal gun factory, every day I help push hundreds of AR15s out to market, and none of them is coming back without a fight, my money is where my mouth is. What do you ever do for your beliefs, besides post ignorant screeds and unfunny memes here?

Your beliefs revolve around guns ? Like as in religiously or philosophically or ?? Trying to wrap my head around this one.

Mostly memeing. I'm a firm believe that laughter is the best medicine, and in this anti-social socially distant world, sharing memes for the lolz is some of the best medicine we can give one another. 8)

Guns are the lifeblood of this the greatest nation on earth. If North America was invaded we would be the ones out there fighting, while Canadians would be helplessly cowering begging us to come with our guns and save them.

You should try less hard to to mischaracterize everything that's said, someone's going to think you're deliberately trolling.

My beliefs revolve around personal liberty and responsibility, including the right to take responsibility for one's own defense. What is the police response time in BC? Around here it's 10-15 minutes, an eternity when someone is trying to harm you, while my rifle can respond at 3000 FPS. What's your plan if some madman, hypothetically let's try and imagine a washed up has been game show host, comes to power in your country and starts getting tyrannical? Going to meme him out of office? My country's military, despite being the most powerful on Earth, couldn't forcibly occupy even my deep blue state, they'd be getting picked off from every window and from behind every tree, a red state would eat them for lunch if they tried it (those who didn't defect as most of our military is from said red states). Basically, I have options, you don't.

What a bizarre culture. It's a shame there are so many innocent victims of gun violence, as otherwise America kinda deserves it for creating it.

Canada re-elected a drama teacher a few times and just keeps letting him f**k things up for some reason. I was only fooled into voting for him the first time. The bright side is that he's not winding crazies up into committing acts of violence, so we don't need weapons to defend ourselves against him or his non-existent cult followers. He should be long gone already for all the corruption, though.

I guess we can count ourselves lucky that he isn't likely to abscond with a bunch of national secrets when he eventually gets the boot.

Nobody cares what Canada does. It's one of the most impotent countries on earth. Not to mention boring.

Mmhmm.

Meanwhile, in reality, Canada's military and peace keeping contributions around the world are celebrated by many countries. We've also got metric s**t tons of natural resources, including fresh water, which places Canada either At or Near the top most desirable places on the planet.. especially as things heat up in the not so distant future. If nothing else, Canada is going to be a fantastic target for plundering & pillaging because we have all the things the world needs and no means to keep them to ourselves. Chances are pretty good that multiple countries are going to eventually fight each other over Canada's resources.. so I'd hardly say that counts as no one caring about Canada. Not in the slightest.

Nighty night!

Don't let the bedbugs bite..

..or worry too much about the monster under your bed. That's a waste of energy.
