Yeah, having attended many such events on the National Mall, I have experienced how it takes a while to get used to the delay. But, the Mall is about two miles long, so, engineers do their best, but can't change the law of audio physics.

Agree that Eric Trump needs chapstick.

I thought Melania looked like royalty, but yes, also nervous.

Hillary, the Bushes and the Obamas look like someone died. Bill looks happy to be at any sort of party. Maybe he's expecting more balloons.

The choir did a good job I think. I'm sure that was a hard song to do especially in such an environment.
