Sort of a post traumatic state in which we Aspies believe we're still free from having our organs removed, and are still carrying on our daily lives?
How absurd! That almost made me expectorate my amino-acid nutriment. Now I'll have to re-sync to the master controller on the mother ship and waste precious clock cycles rebooting!

Thanks a lot!

The smartest of minds in my psychomaut group including myself have come up with a good plan. Kyle's and Karen's in the front, anime fans in the back, hard drug users in the sides, rednecks from under, gamers and nerds from above, and soft drug users handle outside operations. Godspeed friends.

They wouldn't last a single day in the desert, much less if they stormed the perimeter en masse.

These people need some sense knocked into them. Hopefully it doesn't come from military hardware.

latest news is the number pledging to storm Area 51 has now reached 1.4 million and rising
https://www.theguardian.com/science/201 ... book-event

Apparently another 1.1 million have indicated their interest so potentially 2-3 million people turning up to Nevada's area 51 on the last day of September.

Would love this music to be blasting on the loudspeakers

Looks like they might have to use the base's corbormite device. Oh well at last the holograms and cloaking devices were able to protect the place ever since it was built as an airport for the war of independence during the 17th century.

Where did you learn history? That took place at Edwards AFB where the Wright brothers flew the Spruce Goose.

A news article today said the whole idea of storming Area 51 is ludicrous. I tend to agree.

First and foremost, what these people signed up for is not merely an act of trespass, it could well wind up being treated as terrorism. In fact, how do those participating know who is behind this plan? How do they even know that the organizers are not connected to ISIS or some other adversary or enemy using them to disrupt or penetrate the national security of the United States?

There is no question that this is a conspiracy, even if it is said to be tongue-in-cheek, to penetrate a highly classified government installation. Those conspiring to “storm” or overrun the Area 51 installation should be concerned about the legal aspects, including the risk of being liable for the actions of their co-conspirators. What if someone is hurt during this unlawful activity? All the co-conspirators could well be held responsible for the actions of one.

Area 51 is a remote rectangular no-fly area measuring 23 by 25 miles inside the Nevada Test and Training Range, a military training area used by the United States Air Force Warfare Center at Nellis Air Force Base. The NTTR land area includes a “simulated Integrated Air Defense System,” several individual ranges with 1.200 targets.

Area 51 also borders the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository and the Nevada National Security Site, the location of 739 nuclear tests conducted by the United States Department of Energy. Consequently, the possibility of 1 million or more people storming Area 51 will require the participants to brave and survive trespass through an aerial gunnery and bombing range heavily utilized for electronic combat ranges, aircraft control and warning, and for Blue Flag, Green Flag, and Red Flag exercises. In doing so, they must traverse ordnance impact areas in addition to the Air Force’s live-fire activities.

The invasion participants will face other challenges as well. They must face the elements of a desert with wide valleys above 3,900 feet bordered by parallel mountain ranges with summits higher than 9,800 feet. The temperature in September can be expected to reach 100 °F.

Source: Why the proposed September storming of Area 51 is a terrible idea

Now let us say that this event happens and millions of people show up. I suspect roads and dirt paths into the site will be shut down probably by spike strips. A monstrous traffic jam will occur, maybe the Mother of All Traffic Jams. So generally anyone storming the area will do so on foot. And that means a walk in the desert for around 20 miles. Many will walk in 100 degree temperatures and run out of water. Some will perish. Some will meet rattlesnakes along the way and get bitten. There is a high probability these bite might prove fatal because the area is a restricted area and help is not around the corner. Any help would come from military personnel who would be too busy trying to keep the trespassers out. Some will stumble onto unexploded ordnance. Since this is a test range, it is possible to conceive that if someone stumbles onto a live fire target, they might be severely injured. Some will walk through radioactive nuclear test ranges. I hope they remember to bring their radiation detectors along with them. Many will simply die of heart attacks because of the strenuous hiking environment and the fact that many Americans are overweight. Then there is the occasional falls and broken bones. Chaos will rule the day. It is easy to conceive that such a scenario would lead to between 500 and 5,000 needless deaths.

Prediction:

There will be casualties long before any trespassers/terrorists/traitors get anywhere near the base.
