It is criminal negligence!
A crime against humanity!
Hang him by his gonads!
Remove his orange head from his orange body!
Burn his corpse and scatter it into the wind!
And, by edict, his name shall never be mentioned again!

Seriously?
The real damage is to Trump's reputation and ego.

We call it, in the industry, a boo boo.

what if it was one of your own kinfolk who took trumpy up on his non-licensed medical advice, and was injured? would you not conclude that it was not just a mistake but an injury upon a vulnerable [unfortunately less than wise] person via stochastic means? he has a persuasive power that he carelessly used, that is no mere mistake. if he told his followers to take up arms and kill all non-magas, would that still be a mere mistake?

I thought (know) this was covered already.
He never told people to take "it".
He directed a question to his advisors.

Review the video.
Please don't distort the facts.
That is the media's job.

Hadn’t thought of that.. the rest of us are just hearing his words out in the open for the stupidity they are, whereas some of his red hat army might be “reading between the lines,” (or so they think) and following his instructions they think he’s giving them with a wink and a nudge..

He didn't say do it. He asked a question.
Drawing the conclusion that a question is a directive, is rather bizarro-land stuff.
Conspiracy fruitloop country. 8O

Talk about drawing a very, very long bow.
Do you guys listen to yourselves? 8O

If most reasonable people are in agreement with one interpretation and a few nuts are desperately attempting to reframe the issue in a way that absolutely contradicts the standard interpretation, it isn't the common understanding that's unreasonable. Good luck with defending the indefensible, you guys will need it.

it's not as much of a consensus as you think

I'm certain there's entire bubbles that reject that interpretation, but I'm certain there's a substantial bubble that would explicitly deny direct quotes from the man, so I don't consider folks who are rooted in that latter bubble to be credible in these sorts of discussions.

In this case it's not quite clear-cut as any bloc is making it out to be, he did phrase it as a question, but he was also thinking out loud with an expert (he wasn't taunting the media with a sarcastic question and those claiming so are being dishonest). He didn't literally offer it as a direction or advise, but that doesn't mean a portion of his base might not be prone to interpreting it as such as evidenced by increased calls to poison control lines versus a comparable period in previous years with explicit references to clorox.

Unless you want to take it that way (injecting/consuming disinfectant), you won't take it that way. If you want to take it that way, you will.

I am assuming you think your interpretation is the reasonable one,
And facts be damned.

Review the video, again, with your one good eye.
Well, your only eye. :cyclopsani: :P
