 gay parties with backrooms for hookups happen in major cities all around the world, definitely including NYC, kraftie.

But in CHAZ where there are no American laws we could probably throw an orgy with a back room for partying. 8)

I don’t care if the orgy/party is indoors in some bar.

I just don’t want my sleep disturbed.

Lol hyper specialized gay parties don’t typically happen in the streets ever except for maybe in Montreal during Pride - I’ve heard the streets can be as wild as back rooms in gay warehouse parties here.

They happen in industrial areas, warehouses, rented studio space, warehouses specifically outfitted for partying that are rented to DJ’s and party promoters, maybe bathhouses, and even some short term rentals of mansions or Airbnbs etc but are pretty much always in some discreet location or another so as not to bother the neighbours or create issues with law enforcement. It’s still called the gay underground for a reason. Besides, ben though society is more accepting than ever, it’s still a heteronormative world that can be cruel, so gays keep to themselves.

At least in CHAZ, you can have an orgy.

If you did one in Bug Tussle, Alabama, the Feds would be dropping napalm all over the place.

Doubt it. I’m sure they are happening. They are overrated. You aren’t missing out.

What happened to the left?
In my day, they used to be tree-huggers, literally.

What happened to the left's principles involving decency, compassion and the respect for all people?

How is fact checking outright lies politically biased? Is disinformation explicitly mentioned as protected speech somewhere important?

What happened to them? They've become what they hated most. The counterculture of the 1960s was a rejection of "The Man" (ie monolithic groupthink, heavy handed conformity and zero tolerance for ideologies, thoughts or perspectives other than what was traditional at the time) and a rejection of "Big Brother".

50+ years on, and monolithic groupthink (virtue signal to show you're part of the group!), heavy handed conformity (beat down if you're a Christian street preacher in CHAZ!) and zero tolerance for ideologies, thoughts or perspectives other than what was traditional at the time and an acceptance of "Big Brother" (Google, Facebook and massive spying on citizens under Obama are "Big Brother") is what the counterculture of yesteryear now embraces. They are "The Man" and they are "Big Brother".

I feel very fortunate that I can stand on the sidelines and actually see the transformation that occurred. It's sad that it happened, but it's not surprising at all given human nature.

They didn’t do the government mandated background check either. But the democrat politicians and anti gun supporters said it was fail proof.

These are people affiliated with anarchist groups right? Why would anarchists respect anything government mandated?

^Agree with this.

There are a few voices on the left who will dare to take issue with the cult of woke, or at least point out that a cultural revolution based on identity politics is not the answer, but they have been pushed to the fringes.

"Gone With The Wind" axed because it has depictions of slavery.
