I have profoundly researched psychology, and I know that if someone is not responsible for their actions, they are not responsible for their actions.
But I don't see any convincing evidence of this with Brooks.
Also, mental illness is a separate consideration to the events that may have caused it.
I hope you realise that.

No he's a scumbag, but he's also dug his own grave and will be lying in it. Perhaps he was trying to commit suicide and wanted to take a few happy people with him? either way he won't be troubling anyone till he's old and grey,
