I have only listened to one full show and a few snippets here and there. The difference between his and other shows that I noticed is that he has the guest on for a full three hours. So maybe that is one reason people like him?

They must have a better attention span than I do, I couldn’t listen to him for that long.

So, you've barely listened to the guy who you have such a strong opinion about that you're signing petitions to try and get his show yanked? Nice.

This is why I am surprised he has such high ratings. Attentions spans are going down.

Attention spans may be going down in certain sections of the population, but not everywhere.

Besides, most podcasts (and other media such as youtube) can be played at higher speed (1.5x for example), lessening the time required to be devoted to the item, while still allowing it to be comprehensible to most people... Or you can simply pause them and go back to them after a break - you don't need to listen to the whole thing in one go.

When he was just YouTube guy. Nobody gave a crap what he said back then. No drama. No controversy. Then $100million deal. Big shot. Big deal. Big target on your back. Big stakes. Big Media. Big BS.

Can count the number of shows Ive listened to of his, on my hands. And I listened only because of select guests. Not because of him. Though he's not a bad host, as far as hosts go.

In his defense, he is a very macho guy, Announcer in UFC, martial arts etc. Masculine topics are not for everybody liking. His demographics I would say is mainly males. Shout out to Darron! Who said he saw him live. I think hes done standup too, very vulgar standup. Again everything about him speaks, aiming at male audience, male mentality. Assholery... yeah some of his guest are that in the extreme.

Plus the small detail that instead of having to attack multiple sites to have him "blocked", there's now only a single target to attack...

I haven't listened to any of his podcasts, although the long format which he uses does sound like a good thing given it allows much more time to get to know the guest, as well as for more questions and extended answers, allowing the audience to gain much more information (besides also allowing for explanations for how the person being questioned reached whatever conclusions they did) compared to the 30 second clip on most media, or the roughly 30 minutes (or less) that other interviewers normally provide... Maybe I'll have a listen to one or two of his interviews on the weekend.

I’d rather read for three hours then listen. Some people have irritating voices.
Maybe they can’t help it, but I also can’t help being irritated.I’m more of a book person than a podcast one.I can read faster than they talk so it saves time.
There is enough racist and homophonic rants already out there, I don’t want to hear anymore of the same BS.

Then what are you basing your opinion of him on? Second hand reports from people with an agenda? From your comments, it's clear you're not familiar with the man, the dude is a complete normie.

Nope, I listened enough to hear all I needed to.I don’t have to wade through BS for three hours to know it’s BS.There are excerpts on YouTube , that was enough for me.

What specifically is BS? Rogan has guests on, they drink and smoke weed and shoot the sh!t for a few hours, and then he posts the whole thing unedited, that's it. You're in not even wrong territory here.

I’ll listen to a Rogan podcast based on the guest, maybe 6 so far. Rarely finish them completely. If you can overlook Biden’s ‘73 senate speech, where he thanked Byrd and then spewed bs and not Rogan, then you may be a hypocrite. Two things can be true, people can say stupid and can be good interviewers. He has a lot of podcasts and the odds are for stupid. To have an open mind, you have to hear disagreeing opinions.

I also like Sharpiro’s interviewing style, Crowder’s ... meh. Sam Harris depending on the guest.

I’d rather listen to something else and I’m smoking the weed and having a nice toddy.
I don’t want to hear racist or homophobic content for entertainment.
Here is the letter that health professionals sent to Spotify if anyone is interested.
