I haven't listened to any of his podcasts, although the long format which he uses does sound like a good thing given it allows much more time to get to know the guest, as well as for more questions and extended answers, allowing the audience to gain much more information (besides also allowing for explanations for how the person being questioned reached whatever conclusions they did) compared to the 30 second clip on most media, or the roughly 30 minutes (or less) that other interviewers normally provide... Maybe I'll have a listen to one or two of his interviews on the weekend.
