The theory is not about plain heredity, as to pass homosexuality to future generations, so I believe that argument is flawed to refuse to even honestly acknowledge what the theory is actually saying, from what I read in that article, it looks more like the variation few genes suffer from their interaction to the environment which could explain sexual orientation. As well it seems to explain other issues based on these genetic variations such as autism, do all autistics have one autistic parent? (although I might be wrong here)

Anyway, I tend to think that a biological factor wether it is genetics or not, may likely play a role about homosexuality.

Just to clarify- That is not my quote up there. I think it belongs to donhz and I quoted him/her.

How do you know the concept of neurocognitive damage is not fraudulent?

Damn, were did you find that, please tell us your source.
It seems false, homosexuality is nor Genetic, nor a disease.
This orientation is made by personal experience, not DNA...
To illustrate my point, if that theory was true, they wouldn't be any homosexuals because they couldn't reproduce themselves and make the gene continue !
Therefore, this theory is the most false that ever exists (to understand my precedent statement, you'll have to understand the Darwin Evolution theory)

Child, I can assure you my being gay is no more a choice than the color of your hair, skin or eyes.
Yeah- you can dye hair and wear contacts but that just hides the physical truth.
And what is it with you people who think gays are a genetic dead-end.
We DO procreate, y'know. I have two sons to prove it.
Why don't you just sit this one out, junior- the adults are talking here.

You must not be entirely gay, then. If you have two sons, you must qualify as bisexual. Nice job of disrespecting DarthMaxeius btw.

You don't have to be bisexual to have kids. We just have to put the junk in a cup, and boom! instant baby batter. Isn't technology great? ;D Actually my current boyfriend and a mutual friend of ours are planning on having a baby together someday. Besides, we're still fully capable of having sex with the opposite sex, we just don't enjoy it.

Congratulations on sidestepping any semblance of natural process.

No- I'm full-on flaming gay. Have been ever since I can remember.
As Fidget posted, you don't haveta be bi to get it up.

And anyone with such a remarkably narrow view of sexuality has yet to earn my respect.

Aside from the topic on homosexuality...I wonder why people are more obsessed with having biological chilren of their own instead of taking a step to adoption if they have trouble with infertility and want children that bad....... :?

this "evidence" doesn't say that 3/4 of all scientific research is a hoax (your words).

all it says (and yes, I did read most of it) is: "The JAMA report notes that 80% of industry sponsored trials conducted at universities such as Yale, Hopkins, and others, are reported as positive, reflecting bias."

irrelevant.

My view of sexuality is not as narrow as you might think. How do gay men have sex with women if the vagina is not their preferred orifice? Just get off your high horse and tell me.

First, I apologize. My statement about earned respect was directed at Darth, not at you, SM. I didn't make that overly clear in my post.
Second, sex and making love are two entirely different things. I think most men would agree that it's relatively easy to have sex: Stick it in, squirt then get out. It's a biological function- nothing more. Ican have sex with anyone, but I prefer to make love to a man. That does not make me bisexual.

what do biased/inaccurate drug trials have to do with research on homosexuality? are you suggesting that the study desribed in the OP was sponsored by some gay lobby? you'll need to present some proof before making such accusations.
