So whats going to get him first? The Cash for Honours? A war on terror inquiry?

The guy deserves to be locked up, but I fear he'll wriggle out of it again.

Ah well, 3 months until Brown takes charge, thank God.

Why do you think Brown will magically be any different to Blair? They look pretty much identical to me. I hope there is a smooth handover of power: that British liberty and democracy is returned, and that the entire Labour government and machinery is sent to The Hague. Then, and only then, will free-thinking British people rejoice. :)

I wouldn't talk like that in here. You don't keep up with UK politics much, do you?

The man's a liar, an authoritarian and a charlatan to the core. He has done more to undermine the liberties of UK citizens than any other government for centuries. For that reason he must step down. Now.

Him and Bush manufactured a war, the difference between them is that Blair is smart enough to know better. He's done sweet sod all to improve the country, he's taken us into unnecessary wars and he's as corrupt as a politician can be.

Blairites are devious, right-wing scum.

Brown is a very decent human being, an honourable man and an incredible politician. His reputation has been tainted by Blair and his abuse of power, but once Gordon is in charge he'll turn the ship around.

I'm a Politics student, I've attended a lecture by him before - very impressive.

I don't like any of the politicians, but then, anarchy is a bad idea.

CATCH-22!! !! !! !! !

I assume you are being sarcastic celtic.

Some other points:

They (politicians) are all the same.
Look at the new tory leader, he is being primed (by the real people in power) to be the PM, he even looks like Blair.
I spent my formative years under a decade of Thatcher's government.
I was a socialist (well communist really); a labour government was cause for celebration, but what has changed since? What does Blair know about socialism ?

It's been mentioned that Bush & Blair have manufactured a war.
I agree with the sentiment, but not the perpertrators.
Blair did as he was told.
As for Boy Bush..
he has problems tying his shoelaces. Do you really think he weilds the power?

When Bush is out of power, there will be a lot of people celebrating.
They need to wake up: the next one will be just the same.

I'm voting UKIP next time. I don't trust Cameron's Tories one bit.

Don't assume, I'm absolutely serious. He was very charismatic, honest and it was clear he believed in what he was saying.

I swore never to vote Labour again, but after hearing I think Brownite Labour is something I could live with, considering I live in a seat where Plaid Cymru won't win.

I'm voting Monster Raving Loony Party. I have their flag stuck to my locker. One more year and I can join!

Why's that then? Are they a racist party? Don't think so. And Nigel Farage is quite a powerful speaker, even if he is a bit squinty-eyed.

I'd rather not vote than vote BNP. The three main parties are an absolute joke and are pretty much carbon copies of each other these days. The BNP are racist scum, so I'd never vote for them. UKIP won't win around here (I live in one of the strongest Tory seats in the country) but I'd vote for their policies. I can see parties like the UKIP and BNP becoming very popular a few years down the line - and NuLabour/Conservatories/Lib Dims will have no-one to blame but themselves.

Screaming Lord Sutch and Cat Mandu were great leaders, but I don't know who is in charge now.

I'm only pulling your leg. I don't like UKIP, they only stand for limited issues. Plus I'm pro-European and anti-Unionist, so they aren't really my cup of tea.

I agree though that UKIP and BNP are going to really gain ground if the big three don't get their act together. Hopefully the SNP and Plaid Cymru can get their acts together and make the same gains.
