I'll comment.

USA wins by scoring on a corner kick. Oh...this isn't soccer.

I say go Swiss, stick it to the man. The information should not be handed over because the reasoning by the U.S. is flawed. Turn over personal information in another country to clear you of suspicions in this country. By turning over the information they are being treated as a criminal with no due process. Maybe this will be the only reason that would now make Obama use the military.

When they change the rules in mid-stride then what? I remember when the drinking age changed from 18 to 21. There were several people that were "grandfathered in" and were 19 and could drink.

The rules changed in this case because our govt. wants to track down tax cheats implying that anyone with a Swiss bank account is now suspected of being a tax cheat. I don't like the premise but that is becoming the norm these days with the bait and switch tactics of a used car salesman president.

You do realize that people who send their money overseas make it so that the honest taxpayers back home have to complement for the lack of that money, right? Yet those same rich people enjoy living in the same country as you do ~.~ How is that any fair?

Yup, but they're the world's biggest "whores" according to my dad ^.- Since they never took a stand during the World Wars and other conflicts. So they basicly rake in the foreign money. =/ Living in Switzerland is rather expensive, so i've heard. In general i love Europe <.< The landscape is marvelous (proof in Miss C's pictures). -sigh- now if only i could fly... =(

Basically Brown has been encouraging Obama, and other countries to crack down of tax free havens. The only problem is you can't change the law in tax havens. Instead you must ban tax dodgers from trading in your country, relinquish their citizen rights.

However Brown is a very hypocritical trying to enforce other forms of corporate protectionism like everlasting patents. Even pushing China on the issue. I would urge China to ignore Brown on patents. If patents were really about protecting ideas, then they could use it only when the idea is at it most vulnerable right at the beginning, and protect the originator. This is not what happens in practice.

The question that must be asked is, if a country demanding a list of details about american citizens would america comply? I highly doubt it.

I hate to tell you, but the top castle is in Bavaria... It's Neuschwanstein (sp?), modeled it once in a 3d program...

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, I was just letting you know. The Castle Neuschwanstein was constructed by 'Mad King' Ludwig of Bavaria in the 19th century. It's pretty 'Wagnerian', in that he was the top of the pops about then.

It's also the model for the Disney Castle. It looks like a pretty neat place to go, if I ever get there....

LOL, well if the title was referring to culture, i think the united states would lose to just about every country in the world. Keep the pictures of switzerland coming, they are nice.
