Who thinks the wedding between Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian was a big publicity stunt?

I think it was.

Never heard of them. Is this a Trekkie thing? What planet are they from?

I don't think it was. All that Odom needs to worry about career-wise is doing his part to win a second ring. Publicity probably means more to Khloe than to him, but my sense is that this was just a whirlwind romance and they very much fancy one another.

Ewww Khloe Kardashian, the unattractive Kardashian sibling. I don't know if its a publicity stunt, as I don't really keep up with the Kardashians, but honestly I don't think Khloe is remotely attractive so I hope its a publicity stunt.

Haha well I disagree that she is not remotely attractive. Maybe she gets overshadowed by her sisters and other beautiful people on television. But if you were to see Khloe in real life without knowing who she was, I think it would be difficult to say that she was ugly!

This is what I know about the Kardashians off the top of my head:

Robert Kardashian, who passed away this past decade, is probably best known for being one of the lawyers on O.J. Simpson's top notch defense team during his murder trial led by Johnnie Cochran. He and his wife Kris got divorced at some point (she later married former olympian Bruce Jenner). Robert and Kris Kardashian had at least 3 daughters together: Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe. The last few years, Bruce, Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and the rest of the family have had a reality show on E! called "Keeping up with the Kardashians." The three daughters are frequent fodder for gossip columns as they are part of the young Hollywood social scene. Their stepbrother Brody Jenner is also part of that mix and is a regular on the MTV reality series The Hills. Kim Kardashian got a lot of notoriety a few years ago when a sex tape surfaced with her and singer Ray J (who is Brandy's (Moesha's) younger brother. And now, Khloe is married to Lamar Odom, a member of the NBA champion LA Lakers. So in essence, the Kardashian sisters are basically famous for being famous--young, wealthy, beautiful.

ah. I really should watch more stuff than syfy and 'how it's made' reruns...

No I wish I didn't waste space in my brain for all this mess. Save your self and stick with syfy < still don't like the new spelling>.

Odom was a failure as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers... and that's how he shall be remembered.
