Looks cool to me, but did they consider the risk of crossbreeding to the cat's own health?

Wow , this might be a really bad idea like wolfdog hybrids have been known to have all the wolf hunting skills and none of the fear of humans. Handles the right way those can also be great dogs but you wouldn't want them around small kids just incase I think the in wild cat hybrids will be fine as as long as some dumbass doesn't ruin them with abuse and negect but you know someone will. :?

Hyperlinx topic

We still have not tamed our need to rein in the wild. Countless cats around the world need homes, but we would rather mess around with feline DNA or import exotic breeds with subsequent adaption problems. These breeds have their own ecological niche and it does not include a scratching post and a littler box in a domestic suburban home.

Watch it when the fur starts to fly. :?

Great point I wasn't even thinking about the huge amount of shelter cats that get put down every year. I've even got a shelter cat in my home I wouldn't trade that tabby for 100 super cats she wonderful with everyone she meet and a joy to have in our home.
