He's already so ignorant of us autistics (numbering more than 40 million around the world and counting)' plight, let alone the Haitians, from my view.

So I think this is perfectly possible.

Crazy to think someone could have that much hate inside of them.... Mr. Limaugh is killing his own cause with his mouth.
Mr. Robertson is well a nut but at least he does some good in the world, cursed ? Pack with the devil not just the fact the slaves well out numbered the slave owners? He knows this for a fact was he there? didn't think the guy was that old...

Limbaugh was right to this extent; our income tax is, in part, a pre-payment into any emergency fund maintained by the U.S. government. Why scold someone for telling the truth?

Why are people still even listening to this guy? There exists a subset that will never 'get it'. Fortunately, they're a subset.

Rush's waning star will eventually plummet below the horizon. Give it time.

Well, so will everyone's. But Limbaugh has been # 1 since 1991, if Wikipedia is to be trusted (
Link ), so it doesn't seem like he's going anywhere any time soon.

<-- Covers ears ;)

La la la la la la la... la la la la la la la...

Kidding aside though I have to admit that I, too, listened to Rush back in the day. He was new and edgy and had a different way of expressing the Republican ideas and ideals that I had not heard before. Not being much of a die-hard political guy, I caught his show several times to try to get more info on what Repulicans were all about. Sometimes what he said made sense to me, sometimes not. But the Rush now versus the Rush then - it's like two different people. Like he's de-stabilizing.

The Rush era will be brushed aside soon.

I am waiting for the next talk host that rules the airwaves!

(That's rhetorical. I don't really want to know.)

hate never goes out of style, rush is just smart enough to take advantage of this.
we need a senator joseph welch[wiki him] to tell him and his ilk, "have you no sense of decency, sir?"

Decency is not only gone out of American politics. The desire to show decency has withered as well.

and the really telling thing, is that if you ask a dittohead s/he will expectorate to the effect of, "i've got more decency in my fingernail than you and your parasitic traitor ancestors and decendants ever will have!" - but just the same, the average dittohead wouldn't know what decency was if it jumped up and kissed them.

yes, this moral atavism represents a cancer on the american body politic, and it is terminal, inoperatable, it has metastisized too broadly for any cure. leonard pitts, in his most recent column, said that if the repubs nominated sara palin as president, it would be a signal to the rest of the world that the teabaggers, birthers, truthers and the like have driven this country over a cliff, and that the rest of us must quit hoping this country will come to its senses and should plan accordingly. i would be first in line to leave, btw, but canada [and all of europe] has basically blocked the door [greatly restricted immigration] to americans fleeing the emerging corporatism of america, the land of the fee.
