They're still nurturing their star performers like Smith and Tarantino etc, but they've specialised into genre titles
Only about 15% of that list is the bread-and-butter critical award darling drama stuff that made Miramax what it was. I've nothing against genre, but the mainstream stuff lifts the others up. The ones they've picked have fallen on their asses - Miss Potter etc.
