This story would be laughable if it wasn't really happening. OK it's laughable anyway. I used to have an albino rat. They are actually very clean and intelligent animals. Man am I high. But they are admirable creatures.

They do carry bacteria and viruses from one part of the world to another. There's a reason Americans get Montezuma's Revenge when they go to Mexico for example.

I technically wasn't allowed to bring leftover pizza over the Canadian border (as far as I know). I smuggled it.

Actually, you have to be careful with rats, their teeth can cut through steel! (They use that to shorten their lower jaw incisors, which continuously grow throughout their lives)

Not if you give them things to chew and hard pellets with their food. If you treat them kindly their whole lives, you never have to worry about getting bit.

First snakes and now rats? Where is Samuel L. Jackson when you need him?
